- Great piece in *The New Yorker* on the trend of DIY private clubs. In the past, private clubs were the exclusive based on wealth but today, theres a new generation of DIY grassroots private clubs forming to provide an IRL places for people from different backgrounds and industries to connect over curated social experiences.
I couldn't help but turn my mind to Lens when reading it....
As a social layer, Lens has the potential to power a wide range of digital communities that can be just as stimulating. We're already seeing the formation of micro-communities within the Lens ecosystem, where people who may never have crossed paths are connecting over shared interests.

Hi all! I made a collage of my most anticipated P2E games:
🤼🤖 AI Arena - \[AI PVP] This is going to be a revolution in gaming. Not even in web2 is there a game where you train your AI and then your AI fights the AI trained by another player.
🤼 @Luchadores.lens - \[Auto Battle] very simple gameplay, but a very strong web3 community from France. Hopefully the game will go viral soon. Now a tournament is being prepared with some big NFT project.
🤺 Champions Ascension - \[PVP Arena + Open world] I love PVP. Looking forward to the game's release. Hopefully this game can replace WoW for me.
🏃 The Beacon - \[Roguelike] Very hype at launch. Hopefully when the full version comes out, the hype will return to the game
🗺️🐒🦍🐅Kuroro - \[PVP + Open World] It will be interesting to see this Pokemon type game when the full version comes out.
🏰Heroes of Mavia - \[Tower Defense] Hopefully this is the P2E killer of Clash of Clans. The demo version for land holders will be available at the end of June.
🗺️ 🐒🦍🐅 Illuvium - \[Auto battle + Open world] There's no point in even commenting here. Perhaps this particular game will be the first case of true P2E massadoption.
🌍️🕹️ OhBabyGames - \[Gaming Ecosystem] I suggest you go to the site and look at the previews of the games. It's just unbelievable. Very interesting what kind of project this is in stealth mode. Just an incredible selection of games. Apparently there are analogs to Fall guys/Karting/Super Smash Bros/Heroes of Might and magic. Even Worms! And I especially liked the game, designed in the style of the 18th century, where they fight on swords and shoot with muskets. My favorite theme!
🔫Dope Wars - GTA on the blockchain. Now a pixelated version of the game is being made in parallel, as well as on the unreal engine. I wonder what will come out in the end.
