- 描述性假设
有一个段子，一位北方大汉第一次去上海，和一群朋友在餐馆吃饭，菜吃得差不多时，服务员端上一大碗米饭，北方人正好坐在上菜口，直接端过来吃了，扒了几口，才发现全桌每人手里都端着一个小空碗，尴尬地望着他……
任何人做出判断，不仅仅要依据眼前的事实，也要建立在一系列假设的基础上。
南方人看到一大碗饭，就知道是大家分着吃，认为这是不证自明的东西，但这个常识对于胃口大一点的北方大汉而言，可能并不存在，这一大碗饭……多是多了点儿，难道是好客？还是知道我胃口大？
工作中的“描述性假设”中，常常隐藏着逻辑陷阱。
比如，下属建议使用一个新的供应商，并列举了它在一些知名大公司的运用，以证明它是可靠的。但这些大公司是否对产品满意，却可能被隐藏了，而这些大公司常常选择多个供应商，并定期淘汰。
很多新闻中也隐藏着“描述性假设”：我记得游资大佬徐翔被抓之后，某财经媒体记者立刻出发前往公司所在地址，并在报道中写“发现公司大门紧闭”，看上去好像证明公司真的出事了。实际上徐翔是晚上被抓，公司当然是“大门紧闭”。
把不便明说的话，隐藏在精心选择的感性的事实中，让对方沉浸于感受而避开理性的分析，是政客常用的“描述性假设”。
希拉里克林顿在竞选演讲的开场白里说：“我是一个工厂工人的孙女，现在是一个一岁孩子的外祖母。”
这里陈述了一个事实，但却是选择性的事实，故意忽略了中间三代的社会地位，目的是在中间隐藏进一个不证自明的结论，“所以我是跟你们一样的普通人”。
这句话必须要隐藏，因为说出来就是一句明显套近乎的假话，反而让人反感，给人质疑的靶子，只有作为“描述性假设”隐而不现，才有打动力。
