Thank you to everyone who followed us on our journey to 1K followers. This is a major milestone that we were able to achieve very quickly. Along the way, we were able to complete a lot of great projects. Here's a quick rundown of everything we've built or started to build:
• Museum Of Lens: We delivered a demo of how this museum will evolve and hosted some cool events inside of it. For example, we hosted a treasure hunt in the Forest vibe that lasted a week. We have more stuff to release, including a cool party with a great Lens Creator.
• @lensvert.lens : We released and constantly upgraded our Telegram bot and website, and we are starting to work on a Discord bot as well.
• @lensacademy.lens : Together with Lenstructors, we created great tutorials for newcomers and started to form the ultimate wiki of Lens, called Lenspedia.
• @ticketsoffice.lens : We created a month's worth of tickets that grant holders access and created a great community on Telegram. What's next? We're working with Molens and its sub-projects to collaborate with some Lens projects and apps to bring more exposure to Molens and utilities to holders.

Está demostrado que el ejercicio físico no solamente mejora nuestra salud (física y mental), sino que además nos ayuda a descansar mejor y a prevenir enfermedades. Pero ¿cuánto ejercicio debo hacer?
El objetivo final al que debemos apuntar, para ser considerados personas físicamente activas, es de 150 minutos por semana de actividad aeróbica moderada y 2 días a la semana de entrenamiento muscular de fuerza. Analicemos eso por partes.
En primer lugar, 150 minutos por semana de actividad aeróbica moderada se traducen en:
✅ Caminatas a paso rápido, pero que permitan mantener una conversación.
✅ Pueden reemplazarse por cualquier ejercicio aeróbico de intensidad similar.
✅ Llevado a cabo en sesiones de 30 minutos 5 veces a la semana o de 50 minutos 3 veces a la semana.
✅ Si la actividad es intensa (trotar, andar en bicicleta), el objetivo se reduce a 75 minutos a la semana.
Por otro lado, el entrenamiento muscular de fuerza hace referencia a un entrenamiento que esté apuntado a aumentar la fuerza muscular. Esto es, típicamente, entrenamiento de pesas con pocas repeticiones (no más de 6 generalmente) y descansos largos (2-5 min entre series).
Esto no significa que hay que empezar directamente con eso. Lo mejor es iniciar gradualmente, teniendo estos valores como objetivo. Como dije al principio, cualquier aumento en tu cantidad de actividad diaria va a tener repercusiones positivas en tu salud... **empezá con lo que puedas**.

- **La siesta**
El otro día hice una publicación acerca de la importancia del sueño y la cantidad necesaria según edad, te dejo el enlace acá abajo.

Lo que me faltó destacar es que esos datos se refieren a sueño continuo durante la noche. Es importante entender que no es lo mismo dormir 8 horas de corrido durante la noche que hacerlo sólo por 6 horas y después "completarlo" con 2 horas de siesta.
**¿Significa eso que la siesta no sirve?**
¡Para nada! Incluso es normal que alrededor de 7 a 8 horas depués de despertar sintamos una disminución del estado de alerta, que suele coincidir con la etapa post-prandial (luego de comer).
En esta situación una siesta puede ayudar, pero teniendo ciertos recaudos:
1.- No es indispensable dormir siesta, podés pasar todo el día sin hacerlo si tu cuerpo lo tolera bien.
2.- Idealmente la siesta debe ser corta (10-30 min).
3.- Intentá no superar los 60-90 min. de siesta ya que no ofrece ningún beneficio.
4.- Alejá la siesta lo más posible de tu descanso nocturno.
5.- Intentá acortar o suspender las siestas si notás dificultades para conciliar el sueño por la noche.
6.- Podés, como alternativa, practicar *NSDR* (la sigla en inglés de "descanso profundo sin dormir") o Yoga Nidra, que demostró tener todos los beneficios del descanso sin necesidad de conciliar el sueño. Algunas personas incluso aprovechan el tiempo que demora la absorción intestinal de cafeína para tomar una siesta rápida después de un café, práctia que se conoce en inglés como *"nappuccino"* (siesta en inglés -nap- + cappuccino). Si bien ese café no es necesario, en caso de que lo practiques recordá tomarlo relativamente rápido e intentar dormir inmediatamente después de ingerirlo para evitar que la cafeína comience a hacer efecto antes de conciliar el sueño.
Espero que esta información te sea de utilidad a la hora de elegir la forma de descanso más apropiada a tus horarios y costumbres. Recordá que el sueño es parte fundamental de nuestra salud.

Ayer y hoy experimenté algo que nos pasa a todos en algún momento: los imprevistos cotidianos me impidieron concretar planes y cumplir objetivos.
Por ejemplo: tenía pensado armar una serie de posteos para los próximos días y no pude hacer ni uno.
Es inevitable encontrarse en esta situación en algún momento de la vida, y lo mejor que podemos tener es una herramienta para afrontarla.
Entonces, la próxima vez que los imprevisto te impidan cumplir un objetivo, intentá por lo menos acercarte al mismo.
No pudiste salir a trotar 30 min, salí a caminar 10.
No pudiste leer un capítulo del libro que te tiene atrapado, leé una página.
No pudiste armar los posteos que querías, armá uno solo.
Y, sobre todo, aprendé a perdonarte. Esto no fue un fracaso tuyo, fue un imprevisto.

Hablemos de sueño

- Ayer se celebró el día de la bicicleta (cosa que me enteré gracias a que @pablofb.lens me etiquetó en un post) y yo no tenía nada preparado para publicar al respecto... así que va hoy.
Nada mejor que desplazarse en bicicleta para tener impacto positivo tanto en nuestra propia salud como en la de los demás. Más allá de las ventajas ambientales (menor contaminación del aire y sonora, menor impacto en el tránsito), tenemos claros beneficios a la salud que van en consonancia con la publicación del lunes.
Tenemos que aprender a diferenciar entre hacer ejercicio físico (actividad planificada, estructurada y repetitiva, con el fin de mejorar o mantener nuestra aptitud física) y ser o no sedentarios. Se puede ser sedentario a pesar de hacer ejercicio regularmente si fuera de los momentos de actividad física nos mantenemos casi inmóviles.
¿Cómo cortamos entonces con el sedentarismo?

Otra opción es la de elegir las formas de desplazamiento que más actividad impliquen:
✅ Usar las escaleras en lugar del ascensor.
✅ Hacer una sentadilla cada vez que nos agachamos (esto además es bueno para la espalda baja).
✅ Desplazarnos caminando o en bicicleta en lugar de usar vehículos motorizados.
Todas estas estrategias van sumando a nuestra actividad diaria, ayudándonos a cortar con el sedentarismo y a prevenir todos los efectos negativos del mismo. Lo importante es ir incorporando hábitos saludables de manera paulatina y consistente.
Por cierto, según Wikipedia el día de la bicicleta se celebra el 19 de abril en conmemoración de un viaje en bicicleta histórico: Albert Hofmann (el padre del LSD) tuvo que volver a su casa en bicicleta en medio de los efectos de una dosis de 250 microgramos de LSD (200 microgramos ya se considera una dosis alta).

- Hoy es lunes y, para muchos, eso significa volver a la oficina (con todas las actitudes sedentarias que conlleva).
Si trabajás mucho tiempo sentado (en tu casa o en la oficina), no te olvides de cortar cada aproximadamente 45 minutos con un conjunto de ejercicios ligeros de al menos 2 minutos de duración (**pausa activa**). No hace falta que los hagas en el escritorio, se pueden hacer en cualquier lugar privado si la timidez te impide hacerlos en público.
Te dejo algunos videos de ejemplo más abajo y también el siguiente tip:
**`Si estás demasiado ocupado/a y no podés cortar cada 45 minutos, está demostrado que una pausa de 20 segundos de ejercicio intenso (subir escaleras corriendo por ejemplo) cada 3-4 horas tiene algunos beneficios.`**
Los beneficios de esta última estrategia son menores que los de la primera, así que hay que dejarla sólo para los días en los que no se puede hacer otra cosa.
**Y lo más importante:** Cualquier frecuencia de ejericio es mejor que no hacer ningún ejercicio. Si podés hacer sólo una pausa activa en el día, ¡hacela!

Woke up with an idea on how to contain the fluid without wasting any resources. But when I woke up, the body and fluid disappeared. I could see stains and scratches on the wall, so I am sure it wasn't a vision or a dream. The doors are secured from when I secured them yesterday, but I have no idea what happened. So, I am sure now that I need to get in contact with the voices. But it might be hard as they stopped talking out of nowhere. I am not saying I miss them, but they came in handy sometimes.
When I tried to contact the voices, I got an idea to try meditation. It didn't help with contacting the voices but activated another vision. A vision that made me see stuff I didn't see before. Weird footsteps appeared on the floor. They weren't like anything I saw before. They looked like they were footsteps, but they were so covered in shade that it was hard to see anything. But as always, it was glowing. It doesn't look like a coincidence that everything that is weird is "glowing" with the blue energy.
I immediately decided to follow the footsteps, but it just led me to a random open space or so it looked. Luckily, I took the device with me as it got a broadcast from somewhere. I couldn't understand the sounds it was playing, but the image on the screen was very easy to understand. I made a picture out of it in case it could be turned off and hanged it on the "killer board." Even though I was very eager to go and look at what it was, I knew that I needed to first gather resources from the junkyard and prepare myself. I didn't know what would be waiting for me there. Finally, the mirrors are back! In case you didn't understand what happened, let me explain a bit. Apparently, there were many bots using the mirror 👀 and two weeks ago, it reached a point where it congested the network, and we couldn't publish, make collect, or mirrors. Now it seems to have been fixed, and applications that have the dispatcher activated (which basically means that Lens pays the gas for the transactions) are finally back.
Since we're talking about the dispatcher, Lens released an update with this functionality. Now only high-value accounts will have free transactions, and low-value accounts will have to pay for the gas of all their transactions, such as posts, comments, mirrors, etc. Try making a mirror of this post and see if it charges you or not 👀.
And the last Lens news is that they implemented a filter for notifications. Now, only the most important ones should reach you. I really want to see which notifications you guys get. How has it worked for you? Remember that in some apps like Lenster, you can disable it if you want.
Now let's move on to Wav3s news. In case you didn't notice, the mobile version is now 100% functional, along with Wallet Connect. We also took advantage of the time when the mirror wasn't available to keep improving the application. Now it works pretty well, and we fixed all the bugs we had. So go ahead and make a Wav3 🌊.
A couple of weeks ago, Messari published an article analyzing the Lens protocol. It revealed some interesting facts, such as Wav3s being the fourth most popular application of the Lens protocol in February and March, with a staggering 450% growth, making it the fastest growing app during that period. The article also showed that interactions on the platform increased significantly. Between January and February, the number of posts doubled, comments increased 5x, and mirrors increased 10x! Is it just a coincidence? I don't think so.
And since we're talking about ourselves, we're still raising investment, and we're allocating a percentage so that our beautiful community can invest from 200 Matic.
