- The algorithm marketplace for Lens is going to be magical ✨
- What is [ERC20x](https://erc20x.xyz/)?
ERC20x is set of ERC20 extensions amalgamating the idea of *Superfluid Money* with the principle of *tokenize all data* using ERC721.
You get:
*** Superfluid Money Inspired** precice payment primitives.
*** Token-centric APIs** for full feature set.
*** Existential NFTs** for accessing features via wallets.
*** Accounting Information Recoverability** by design.
Still a work in progress work, but join the early discussion at: https://github.com/superfluid-finance/protocol-monorepo/discussions/1188
- Happy 2023 from the Superfluid team 💚
Who is ready to buidl with us this year?
There's some cool stuff happening in our community - updates coming soon 👀
- A friend of mine lost his Lens id due to private key compromise. He used that wallet for dev purposes and almost everything to do on-chain. I wonder if there is any way to use another wallet to sign Lens interactions. Think of something like delegate.cash. My Lens profile lies in a cold wallet and I use a hot wallet to use my Lens profile on behalf of that cold wallet address.
I know that most of the interactions that I make with Lens protocol are gasless to begin with so transferring the Lens profile NFT to an address with no gas tokens could be a compromise but that's an ugly one. The delegation mechanism I am thinking of would only allow interacting with Lens protocol WITHOUT the ability to transfer the profile or claim any airdrops or anything directly to that hot/delegated wallet. Any ideas if anyone is solving this? Will this take a lot of changes on the Lens protocol level? Let me know your thoughts! @lensprotocol @stani.lens
- RIP Pele. Still get goosebumps when I watch your old clips of glory. Thanks for all the memories 🙏
- Shitpost #1: Don't "forget" to "forge t" before contract deployment 🤪.
- LOL
- This year was good for me on a personal and professional level and I am excited to enter into the new year in a few days. Some of the projects I would like to build next year will include...
1. Distribute Lens collection earnings to audience (followers) using @superfluid.lens.
This will be my immediate next project which I aim to build before the end of this year and launch it early next year. Content creators can reward their followers for supporting them with a share of their earnings and all that the creators have to do is to specify the amount/percentage to share. Rest is taken care of by automation and Superfluid Protocol 👀.
2. Premium content subscription on Lens protocol using @litprotocol.lens and @superfluid.lens.
I along with @0xfran.lens and a couple of others (whose Lens profile I don't know) created a PoC at #ETHIndia at the start of this year. Essentially, this allows a creator to post premium content on Lens protocol which can only be accessed by subscribers who "stream" a certain number tokens (USDCx for now) to the creators every month (technically every second if you know Superfluid 😉). BTW, this project can use the mechanism described in the first idea in this post.
3. Gated content subscriptions using @superfluid.lens (I think from this point onwards I should stop tagging Superfluid because it's implicitly involved anyway 😅)
Though this is possible to do this now, I am focusing on making more integrations. One of them being @paragraph.lens. Creators can now token gate their blogs/newsletters only accessible to subscribers streaming tokens to the creators.
4. Enhanced Lens protocol and Twitter bridge.
I know there already exists one created by the awesome @m1guelpf.lens but I have some mods in my mind and would like to experiment by forking and contributing to the already built out bridge.
5. Continue building DeSIP.
I was building a systematic investment plans product for subscribing to different funds in different DeFi protocols and there exists a version of this built on top of the dHEDGE protocol. I will probably release this later next year so that anyone can use it or experiment with it.
If anyone wants to help me out by collaborating on some of these projects, reply to this post! If you like any of these ideas, plz don't "steal" any of these 😂.
- Hmm, seems there is a bug here that doesn't convey that this post is longer than it looks. Is it just me @orbapp.lens ? After clicking the post, it shows the whole content correctly it's just that if I were someone reading this, I wouldn't have guessed that there was more content in that post.
- @orbapp.lens is beautiful! Will try to use it more. @0xfran.lens are you here?
- i will share some blunt feedback since i'm a new user on Lens with fresh eyes and would like to see it succeed:
the sign-in UX via @lenster.lens is totally broken from the perspective of an average user on a social media site, and i can 100% guarantee you that it significantly reduces the number of active users we have on the platform
like many people, my ENS address maps to a hardware wallet. like many of those people, i only break out the hardware to sign value transactions. for simple authentication signatures, i'll do it for infrequent apps, but i am not willing to do it for apps i want to use daily. it also teaches bad user behavior
i had logged into @lenster.lens yesterday, and today i go to my browser and i was logged out. since i see no option to delegate sign in (either via delegate.cash, or even just plan specifying a hot wallet i can sign from without hardware), i had to break out my hardware wallet. i did it today. not sure i'll do it tomorrow
quite frankly, this is an encumbrance your average user will not be willing to suffer (even web3 power users like myself)
so is delegated sign-in on the roadmap? if so, when it is expected? doesn't seem like the hardest feature to implement (unless i'm missing something about interaction with @lensprotocol on the back end), so i hope it can be prioritized @lensprotocol @lenster.lens @stani.lens
- Excited to be venturing into decentralised social media! LFG!!!
