- An irony of blockchain data is that as transparent as it’s supposed to be, it’s impossible to come by in a way that’s not mediated by an API. I just want an S3 bucket that has every Ethereum event log (or Polygon or Arbitrum or …) in it as a jsonl or parquet file, or whatever.
It’s wild this doesn’t exist. I’m flexible about the latency and I’m obviously willing to pay.
Anybody?
- GPT-4 is like working with a talented intern. You can’t trust them with everything yet, but wow this kid is going places.
GPT3.5-turbo is like if that intern were the boss’s son. Went to a good school, and can get some stuff done, but could not care less about the job.

- For non-native English speakers who are unsure about correct English syntax, I have a recommendation. Run your posts through ChatGPT and use the prompt "Rewrite this text in fully grammatical English:", followed by the text of your post. The result will be grammatically correct and easy to understand English.
I'm a native speaker of English and I still do this all the time to make sure I'm being as clear as possible.

- `getting started` with #lens in 5 steps 🪴 [March 2023 update]
(0 a) maybe consider adding some information about yourself and a pfp to your profile before you start.
(0 b) "hello world" posts get quite some attention ... 😉 . (if you can post something related to what you are interested in ... 🎇 -> People you start following might take a look at your profile and follow if they are interested in the content you share.) Find one great example at the end of the post.
(1) https://lists.inlens.xyz/lists/818891525288558593 *updated* - list of great profiles to start your lens journey ... you will discover a ton, worth following profiles in the communities of people in this list. lists.inlens.xyz/ in general is a great starting point.
(2) find your twitter contacts on lens: inlens.xyz/ (not everyone with a lens profile, active on twitter, is very active on lens (yet ;-)). Maybe consider connecting with new people, sharing interesting content on lens.)
(3) probably you read this post on @lenster.lens . If you are interested in lens mobile apps, @orbapp.lens and @buttrfly.lens (iOS only) are at the moment - imo - the most advanced general purpose lens mobile apps. One of the beautiful things regarding lens is that it doesn't matter which lens app you use, every lens app has access to the same content and social graph.
(4) what you share on lens is stored and publicly available for a very long time. Probably *forever*. You can hide posts, comments and mirrors. But that's a front-end feature, the data is still available and publicly accessible.
(5) "collects" are a very powerful concept, adding a NFT version of the post to your address (4th symbol below a post on @lenster.lens ). Collects can be monetised -> creators can use collect fees to earn money on lens.

You can use this in many ways, notably rewarding your early followers with access to private TG chats via @guild , among others!!
- A fundamental life hack for gaining new skills or leveling up on existing skills, if you have the resources, is to hire a coach (or a tutor) to teach you or give you personalized advice on how to improve. I'd venture it's *the* most time-efficient way to make progress in any personal or professional challenge you take on.
- Content discovery on Lens is about to get much more interesting. We're working on features that leverage vector embedding to make recommendations much more aware of the *meaning* of posts. We're also planning on releasing the vectors over the Lens API so that devs can use them in creative ways. This is going to be really cool.

I have a great life, a great career, great friends, am generally pretty happy —none of these things would be true if I hadn’t come out as gay all those years ago.
Being the real you is the greatest gift you can give yourself. I really hope Lens becomes a place where everyone feels welcome and comfortable being themselves.

- wavMOMENTs - KarmaVioletta - “Unity” - 24 Hr Open Edition
Personal Statement from @KarmaVioletta.lens:
This single that we ever released under our duo project, KarmaVioletta, in June 2020. It was inspired by the current state of the WRLD at the time, which was right after the COVID pandemic hit, the world was locked down & the BLM protests were happening. Our aim was to convey hope, oneness & joy in a time of fear & uncertainty.
We also partnered with Feeding America & donated 5 meals for every song purchase & 50 meals for every item of merch we sold. We ended up donating 600 meals in total to Feeding America! We decided to release “Unity” on Lens to celebrate our recent engagement (on Aug 30th) & our upcoming union. Let’s spread love, peace & unity — We are all in this human experience together!!
About the Artist:
We're a traveling music duo & couple, involved in the Web3, creator & wellness spaces. We believe in a world where a kid can tell their parents, "I want to be a musician, artist or creator," & there's a viable path to that. We were formed in 2019 in Miami, after we fell in love and started creating in our home studio.
About wavMOMENTs:
wavMOMENTs are collectible social moments experienced IRL brought to the URL, as the first ever music NFT drop on Lens. This drop includes 3 of our artists from the wavWRLD Web3 Music Showcase event during NFT NYC in June 2022 at The DL — KarmaVioletta, Peter Saputo & Alec King. These NFTs consist of a spinning vinyl artwork with photos & audio clips from these artists’ rooftop performances — live IRL moments brought to the URL to experience on the blockchain.
About @wavWRLD.lens:
wavWRLD is a social garden building infrastructure to enable unique musical experiences that connect artists with their true fans. We believe in a world where a kid can have a financial, emotional, and social path to being a musician, artist, or creator.
We’re turning collectors into true fans. We’re using Web3’s open, transparent systems to create direct digital & physical experiences that strengthen the connection between them. We then take those experiences & put them back on-chain to continue deepening this fan-to-artist relationship & expanding the value creation opportunities.
About @lensprotocol:
Lens Protocol is a tech stack for building a decentralized social web that enables people to bring their digital profiles, social graph, and content to different Web3 apps. With Lens, developers can build tools, applications and platforms that empower creators with full ownership and control over their content, community and engagements.
- You may have noticed that the Who To Follow recommendations displayed in Lenster (and other frontends that use the Lens API) are looking a bit different recently. The Lens ML team, which I lead, recently released an update to the algorithm that backs that API endpoint making it so that recommendations are now personalized to each user. Our hope is that you're now getting recommendations that make more sense based on the profiles that you already follow.
The algorithm is still in a beta period and we're looking for feedback on the recommendations. So how do they look for you — better, worse, the same? Maybe you discovered someone you didn't even know was on Lens? Maybe it's a bunch of low quality profiles? Let us know!
- Who is working on reputation scores in web3? Let's talk!
- Hey guys,
So today I’m SUPER excited to present you the LAST piece in my artistic homage series to @lensprotocol that features the Lens logo in BLUE.
This is the Forth of 4 pieces in this series, and this time, only 10 people will be able to collect it for 4 MATIC per copy.
Be sure to check out (and collect) the First piece in the series > https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x8eaf-0x28

To those of you who don’t know me yet: so happy to have you here! my name is Leli, and I am an Israeli artist based in Tel Aviv. As someone who has always loved arts, and has always been a nature enthusiast, I looked for a way to combine both. 6 years ago I found it, and I started to create illustrations using natural materials only.
If you want to see more of my work, be sure to check out my Instagram account > https://www.instagram.com/leli_j/

I really hope you enjoyed this series (I know I LOVED creating it)! A huge thank you to @bradorbradley.lens who came up with the idea and encouraged me to follow through. I would also love to hear what you think of the final result in the comments section below.
See you in my next creation ;)
Thanks and have a great day!

- You have 100 likes on Twitter. I have 100 1-WMATIC collects on @LensProtocol. We are not the same.
- Hi everyone - my name is Leli. I am an Israeli artist based in Tel Aviv. I love nature and am inspired by it, so I found a way to integrate it into my art: I use dried and fresh flowers to create my illustrations and record the process.
I am extremely new to crypto - in fact, this is my 2nd transaction ever after claiming my Lens handle. I recently learned about Lens and how it can help me share and monetize my artwork. This is truly an experiment for me - my friend @bradorbradley.lens encouraged me to try out posting on Lens, so I am making my debut of this video that you can collect for 2 MATIC. I am going to offer a referral fee to see if that will help raise awareness.
This piece I am sharing today is my homage to "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt and is one my favorite creations I have made. I use over 100 flower petals to make this piece. \
Here is the timelapse making-of the work: https://www.instagram.com/p/CeldSlvocyu/

- Does anyone have any leads on good off-the-shelf code for dynamic graph visualization? I would like to visualize the development of the Lens graph over time, but I'd prefer not to code it up from scratch, if I can.
- The density of the Lens graph has reached a point where the software I use to visualize it cannot no longer handle the number of edges.
This is the best it can do.
