- New Novel attack allows your ISP to see your VPN traffic!
Remember all the people calling me a tinfoil hat wacko for insisting on open source routers?
There is a new critical VPN vulnerability from Leviathan Security group, which they call “TunnelVision”. It allows the ISP or local router to see the VPN traffic by abusing the DHCP client and option 121
Here’s the basics:
--It uses the local area network, so we’re talking about a hostile router
--Android is safe by default and unaffected.
--Linux may be safe if used correctly.
--Microsoft Windows and Apple are highly vulnerable.
--While Leviathan created it, they think it’s been used in the wild since maybe even 2002
--Abuses the DHCP server to incorrectly route packets
--Random devices can pretend to be the router with DHCP attacks
How it works:
DHCP is when a home router assigns IP addresses to devices in your local area network. There is “ option 121” which allows that router (DHCP server) to route the VPN user’s system in a way that is more specific than those used by most VPNs. TunnelVision abuses option 121 to purposefully route the system through their fake interface.
Why Android is immune:
Android ignores option 121
How Linux users can protect themselves, quote from Leviathan:
“Using network namespaces on Linux can completely fix this behavior. However, in our experience, it is less commonly implemented. WireGuard’s documentation shows how it’s possible to use a namespace for all applications with traffic that should be using a VPN before sending it to another namespace that contains a physical interface. However, this appears to be Linux-specific functionality and it’s not clear if there is a solution for Windows, MacOS, or other operating systems with the same amount of robustness.” Source: https://www.leviathansecurity.com/blog/tunnelvision
And of course, Linux PLUS an open source router is the real protection. Check out the router section of our site,

- Part of the problem with the word 'disabilities' is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted.
But what of people who can't feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren't able to form close and strong relationships?
And people who cannot find fulfillment in their lives, or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities.

- When a dynasty rich feels he is not respected by the self-made rich, he tends to espouse communism & redistribution as a means to punish the self-made.
His tonality is always aggressive, it’s about punishing the rich, instead of benefitting the poor.
It’s the old dynasty itch, to be a feudal lord and give alms to the poor, so they sing songs for you.

- A bit late, but watched “King Richard” yesterday on Netflix. Will Smith got an Oscar for this.
A biopic of Serena & Venus Williams’ father, who right from the word go, believed his daughters are going to be World champions, even before they were born. Imagine.
Also, Fascinating is the fact that how corporate America, lets go of all inhibitions, pulls out all stops and blockers to catch the next big thing. No egos at play. Cut-throat commerce. Venus refused a 4 million dollar Nike contract, and went with Reebok a year later, for 12 million at the age of 15.
An amazing cocktail of unreal self belief, talent & hard work, nurtured by corporate opportunism.
If you have world beating talent, no better place than the US. The best talent incubator. The place where you can make the fastest 10 million.
- There is no free stuff. If you get something for free, everything else gets more expensive.
- I have been training myself to look deeper into a situation before reacting to what's on the surface.
By identifying the root cause of a problem and addressing it, you can break the cycle of the same problem repeating itself. This approach creates room for new problems to arise and brings you closer to discovering the ultimate truth.
The goal is not to live a problem-free life but to avoid being stuck with the same problems.
- đź‘©đź’» Play with Docker is an online service for getting hands-on with Docker.
• An interesting and unique resource for learning Docker, which was created back in 2017. The idea is that after authorization we are sent to one of the cloud hosts, where a 4-hour “playground” session starts. In it you can create new entities (instances), i.e. test Docker cluster nodes. Each of them is an installation of a lightweight Alpine Linux distribution with an editable local IP address. They have the latest version of Docker installed:
 https://labs.play-with-docker.com https://labs.play-with-docker.com
• And to make it easier and better for novice Docker users to understand what it is possible (and useful) to do in the Docker playground, the authors of Play with Docker have supplemented their service with a convenient training resource:

- Not everyone is okay with living like an open wound. But the thing about open wounds is that, well, you aren’t ignoring it. You’re healing; the fresh air can get to it. It’s honest. You aren’t hiding who you are. You aren’t rotting.
People can give you advice on how to heal without scarring badly. But on the other hand there are some people who’ll feel uncomfortable around you. Some will even point and laugh. But we all have wounds.
- What is Bias?
Bias is when you have a preference or a tendency to think or act in a certain way, even if it might not be fair or accurate. For example, if you always choose your favorite color when coloring a picture, even if it doesn't match the picture, that's a bias.
In real life, bias can be a problem because it can lead to unfair treatment of people or groups. For example, if someone thinks that all boys are better at sports than girls, that's a bias. It's not fair to assume that just because someone is a boy or a girl, they are automatically good or bad at something.
It's important to try to recognize our biases and be aware of them so that we can treat everyone fairly and equally.
What are Cognitive Biases?
Cognitive biases are like tricks that our brains play on us. Sometimes our brains make mistakes in the way we think or remember things, and these mistakes can lead to biases.
For example, have you ever played a game of telephone, where one person whispers a message to another person, and then that person whispers it to someone else, and so on? By the time the message gets to the last person, it's usually different from the original message. That's because our brains can sometimes remember things incorrectly or change them without us realizing it.
Another example of a cognitive bias is called the "confirmation bias." This is when we only pay attention to information that confirms what we already believe, and we ignore information that goes against our beliefs. For example, if you think that all dogs are friendly, you might only notice the friendly dogs and ignore the ones that are not friendly.
Cognitive biases can be a problem because they can lead us to make bad decisions or treat people unfairly. It's important to be aware of our biases and try to think critically and objectively, so that we can make the best decisions possible.

ART 12
"No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks."
- Many people are using a "SURNAME" in forms and documents.
"Surname" is a combination of 2 words, sur means surety and name. Surname is Surety name.
Surety is someone who is accepted to pay the debts of someone else, the ability of someone else's performance. so this is how the government trick you, they don't ask straight questions, they'll say something like "what is your surname?" Whet they're asking is what is your debtor's name? As you fill it out, you're agreeing that you have now become the DEBTOR.
That's how they do it and that will get you into CONTRACT LAW, you are basically forming a contract at that point even though you don't know it, you're agreeing to a contract that isn't even written on paper.
If they ask: what us your surname? They are actually asking: What is your debtor's name? So you are agreeing that you have now become the debtor.
This violates informed consent, if you do not have informed consent on any contract you have the right to terminate the contract. The contract itself is null and void. If you know basic contract law you can see all this stuff and see the fraud.

- It seems like everything is always falling apart because everything *is* always falling apart.
What’s less obvious is that everything is also always coming into being.
Death is just more obvious than birth. We notice the absence of things we were used to more than the presence of things we weren’t, and this creates the perceptual bias that the world is out of balance.

These brands allow you to customize your Laptop according to your needs, such as adding more RAM and storage if you're into running Docker or a Bitcoin node.

• We will talk about an application on Android , which is an isolated contact directory. This solution will be of interest to those who are concerned about privacy and anonymity, the security of their contacts and do not want to disclose this information to third-party applications.
• The bottom line is that if we write down contact details in this tool, then no application on the smartphone will have access to them (until you allow it yourself). This app stores contacts in its own database, separate from Android contacts. By the way, the application is open source and supported by developers.
