i’m embarking on an epic journey & have BIG plans. art that i've wished to create for 3 years since being ripped from my favourite place on earth is in queue & you can be a part of it. hear me out…
by collecting this post you get a pass called SHINJUKU42. this will allow me to obtain all that is necessary to execute the creations in my brain over 2 months in JAPAN which will live here on @lensprotocol. holding the pass will display exclusive art not visible to anyone but YOU 💎
2022 was the most financially challenging year of my life. i was forced to sell multiple cameras just to make rent & gave up my NYC flat for 6 months to pause overpriced living, but i’m good at what i do so i secured a free flight/cheap rent in TOKYO to make this happen. however, i need a few items to fully produce my visions: gimbal, gopro, lens filters, drone, costumes, locations, etc. i also plan on renting a camper to wander the island chasing snow, an “ADVANTURE” of its own 👀
gated posts will be collectible for FREE & premier art will be available only to holders of SHINJUKU42, not anyone outside of the #lens ecosystem. this is the best way to achieve my goals while rewarding those who support me. even if you’re not able to fully #LMCC, some #LMC love still goes a long way 🤝
COST: 10 WMATIC | LIMIT/GOAL: 1000 collects
*5 collects grants a limited edition to all at this tier*
*10 collects grants you a unique 1/1 + above*
i truly believe in the power of #lensprotocol & those who make it what it is! either way, you get art to keep not found anywhere else. the level of production i reach depends on total participation so i thank you ALL in advance for yours whether big or small! i appreciate each & every one of you 🤍 ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA 🙏

**1️⃣ Federal Reserve raises interest rates by 0.50%, bringing rates to highest since 2007**
The Federal Reserve raised short-term interest rates Wednesday by a half percentage point, slowing down its pace of rate hikes from this summer's torrid clip.
The rate hike brings the Fed’s benchmark policy rate, the federal funds rate, to a new range of 4.25%-4.5%, the highest level since December 2007.
Wednesday's 50 basis point rate hike comes after the Fed raised rates by 75 basis points at each of the past four policy meetings — its most aggressive stretch since the 1980s.
**2️⃣ Grocery prices jumped 12.0% in November**
Backing out volatile gasoline and food prices, inflation in the U.S. slowed again last month, up 7.1% year-over-year. That was lower than economists' exception of a 7.3% increase, per Bloomberg data.
Still, the latest report was not great news for grocery shoppers: Food prices in November rose 12.0% year-over-year.
**3️⃣ Warren pushes bipartisan bill to regulate crypto firms after FTX collapse**
Elizabeth Warren is pressing Congress to adopt new bipartisan legislation which would force crypto firms to abide by the same regulations as banks and corporations in an attempt to crack down on money laundering through digital assets.
Senator Warren is pushing for new controls on the crypto industry in the wake of the spectacular collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX. On Tuesday its founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was charged with eight criminal counts including conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Warren’s bill is being co-sponsored by the Republican senator from Kansas Roger Marshall. The Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act would essentially subject the world of crypto to the same global financial regulations to which more conventional money markets must conform.
**4️⃣ Twitter suspends account dedicated to tracking Elon Musk’s private jet**
The Twitter account used to track billionaire Elon Musk’s private jet was suspended as of Wednesday morning.
The account, @elonjet, was run by Florida college student Jack Sweeney and had amassed more than half a million followers. It tracked Musk’s location using publicly available flight data.
Musk had claimed he was such a staunch advocate for free speech that he would not ban the plane tracking account, which he called a “direct personal safety risk.”
**5️⃣ DOJ and SEC charge social media influencers in alleged $100 million stock pump and dump scheme**
Federal prosecutors and the SEC charged seven social media influencers with using Twitter and Discord to commit securities fraud that netted them more than $100 million in illicit gains.
The separate criminal and civil complaints also accuse an additional influencer with aiding and abetting the scheme, authorities said on Wednesday.
The seven charged with securities fraud used the social media platforms to manipulate exchange-traded stocks in a scheme going back to at least January 2020, the SEC alleged. Through widely-followed Twitter accounts and stock trading chatrooms on Discord, the defendants allegedly “promoted themselves as successful traders,” according to an SEC press release and allegedly encouraged followers to buy stocks that they also purchased.
But they did not disclose to their followers while promoting those stocks that they allegedly planned to later sell shares once prices or trading volumes rose, according to the complaint. The influencers allegedly gained a profit by pumping the stock prices and then selling once they rose, earning about $100 million in total, the SEC claims.
**6️⃣ Major Energy Breakthrough: Milestone Achieved in US Fusion Experiment**
It was touted as a "major scientific breakthrough" and, it seems, the rumors were true: On Tuesday, scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory announced that they have, for the first time, achieved net energy gain in a controlled fusion experiment.
"We have taken the first tentative steps toward a clean energy source that could revolutionize the world," Jill Hruby, administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, said in a press conference Tuesday.
