- We just did our first Friday Points Airdrop to 44k users.
Some reminders:
- 100M points will be distributed during the six month beta period
- Airdrops happen on Fridays
- Points are recorded off-chain
- Points will have a special purpose once the beta period ends
Airdrops consider activity until Thursday 11:59pm UTC. The criteria will update weekly. We do not recommend any specific methods to earn points; it is best to use the app as you normally would. We reserve the right to modify previous point distributions if issues arise
- WeWork can't get a break https://www.ft.com/content/43d6f81b-05f5-41c1-b21e-d25d88a4110f
Whats everyone's feeling about WeWork going down? I have mixed feelings as Aave had space in WeWork back few years ago and we closed it down during Covid. I felt it brought some speed to our growth and convenience, also free beer afternoon (lol). Wondering also what could have saved them.

To increase the chance of being early and having more tx on the chain for future airdrop minting or creating collections are a good way to interact with the protocol

- DeFi has the best product market fit in crypto and it’s ridiculous that some people are ashamed of it
- **Context: data that helps give meaning to other data.**
Smart contracts rely on a lot of context when building efficient systems. In the multichain world, **context is getting left behind**, with trusted oracles & inefficient systems left instead.
**It's time to bridge that context**
An example of context: wstETH. Any wallet can hold the wstETH token and interact with it, however contracts might like to know the rate between wstETH and stETH. This *context* is provided by the contract via *`stEthPerToken()`*.
https://etherscan.io/token/0x7f39c581f595b53c5cb19bd0b3f8da6c935e2ca0#readContract#F10
The problem arises once wstETH is bridged to another network. This context, **is no longer present in the bridged token**. Instead contracts must rely on a trusted oracle or operate without the information, both suboptimal solutions.
For my fomo #ETHLisbon hack, I built `Context Provider`, a pair of contracts that lets anyone bridge rate provider data from Ethereum to Polygon PoS & zkEVM using `FxPortal`. No permissioned actors. No oracles. Designed to bring contextual `ERC-4626` data to a multichain world.
https://github.com/oneski/context-rateprovider
***`NOTE: Code is not well written, I am not a contract dev. Code is not audited. Don't use in a production environment. Please fork responsibly.`***

- Hello. While I can't find the best way to continue the #lenstopia project, in terms of contracts, features etc... I would like to share with you a WIP of what the next "little robots" will look like. They will be completely built in 3D (voxels), which will allow many cool things, such as interchangeable parts, greater customization, three-dimensional visualization, 3D printing... or just blinking lights 😆
If anyone is interested in contributing to this concept, either in its implementation or new features, just get in touch.
Big hug to all.
I see you. 😄
- You probably noticed GHO release is getting closer 👻
To prepare the launch, we published a proposal with @betainvestments.lens at @Token.lens_Logic for early considerations of the initial GHO liquidity pools 👇
https://governance.aave.com/t/temp-check-gho-liquidity-pools/13655
This proposal can be split in 2 parts: primary & secondary pools.
We’re initially proposing 3 primary as the bootstrapping GHO pools, useful for the SM & other integrations:
~ GHO / bb-a-USD
~ 80LST / 20GHO
~ GHO / LUSD
1 & 2 are eligible for core pool status, driving part of the fees in bribes creating the PFVI flywheel.
2 & 3 could be sustained by the SM reward budget over time. Moreover, creating a pool with @liquityprotocol.lens $LUSD makes it a ideal inclusion for the SM.
Between the DAO’s & external veBAL votes, the PFVI & SM reward budget + considering the long time collaboration with @aaveaave.lens it makes sense to create the primary pools on @balancerprotocol.lens
However, we also considered several secondary pools & mentioned a few ideas to be discussed
The goals of secondary pools are to create severals GHO liquidity pools, as well as create arbitrage opportunities & volume. We initially proposed 3 secondary pools, but there could be many more:
~ GHO / MAI - @qidao.lens
~ GHO / OHM - @OlympusFinanxe.lens
~ GHO / FRAXBP - @fraxfinance.lens
While the FRAX pool would be created on @curvefinance.lens since it can be supported by the DAO veCRV voting power & FraxBP program, several other DEXs can be explored for efficient liquidity such as @mavprotocol.lens, @uniswap.lens @swaapfinance.lens more.
Several integration can also be considered with @AuraFinance.lens, @convexfinance.lens @sommfinance.lens, @mellowprotocol.lens etc
We highly encourage projects interested in pooling with GHO to comment on the forum, especially LSTs to increase the diversification: https://governance.aave.com/t/temp-check-gho-liquidity-pools/13655
Looking forward to get read the feedback on this one !

- **Rooting in Web3 — day 4 Introducing Lenstube 🎥**\
\
**What is Lenstube?** \
Lenstube is a decentralized video-sharing social media platform, built with @LensProtocol 🌿. \
What is that really mean? 🤔 \
Let me walk you through it!\
\
In Web3, it is all about decentralized this and decentralized that. So in this context, what it really means is that a video being decentralized is being uploaded to "IPFS".
\
**What is IPFS?**\
"IPFS" or InterPlanetary File System is a protocol and P2P network for storing and sharing data in the distributed file system. This allows the same content could be retrieved from anywhere! In simple meaning, every video uploaded to [Lenstube](https://twitter.com/lenstubexyz) is going permanently forever! 🤯\
\
**What Lenstube is solving?**\
One practical major problem Lenstube is solving is a situation that happened to @lofigirl. Just recently, a video by @lofigirl has been "mistakenly" taken down due to "false copyright strikes" by Youtube.\
\
**Be responsible for uploading video to IPFS**\
Well... you might be thinking it is useful and might be quite alarming at the same time. We understand... It is always been a similar situation when a new technology is invented, someone could abuse it or either use it for good.\
\
In order to build an open world, we all have our parts to play and responsibility to ensure good. I'm pretty sure Lenstube already has this regulation in place and continues to improve. In decentralization, no one can't take down what you uploaded, so please be responsible!
