This year more than ever Web3 Marketing will take over.
Let's dive ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Web3 marketing refers to the use of blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps) in marketing and advertising. Web3 technologies offer a number of benefits for marketers, including increased transparency, security, and immutability.
Some potential applications of web3 marketing include:
Supply chain transparency: Blockchain technology can be used to track the movement of goods from the point of origin to the consumer, providing greater transparency and traceability.
Verifiable data: Data stored on a blockchain is difficult to alter, making it a reliable source for verifying information such as customer reviews and ratings.
Decentralized advertising: DApps built on blockchain platforms can enable more transparent and effective advertising by reducing the need for intermediaries and eliminating fraud.
Personalization: Web3 technologies can be used to create more personalized and targeted marketing campaigns by allowing companies to access and use customer data in a more privacy-conscious way.
On-chain analysis: On-chain analysis is the process of analyzing transactions and other data that is recorded on a blockchain. This can be used to gain insights into a wide range of topics, including the behavior of individual users or organizations, the overall health and usage of a blockchain network, and the underlying economic trends within a particular cryptocurrency or market.
**Community: Your Community will be the key for all the above. Community can be the Product, can build the Product and or can buy the Product!**
Overall, web3 marketing offers the potential to revolutionize the way companies interact with customers and manage their marketing efforts.
Who do you think will take over the web3 space this year?
- Iโm not a good thought leader because I ask way more questions than most people, and barely ever know the answer to lifeโs toughest questions.
Iโm happy with where Iโm at in life, the best I can do is share things that have worked for me.
- Asking Questions brings innovations ๐

What a year!!! For me it was an unexpected year, full of changes, worries and a new life in a new city, new Country.
Although the start of the year was scary I found my purpose and passion and gave everythin to it and took a deep dive into the Web3 World.
I never had a Twitter account, I didn't know wtf are NFTs, wtf is Web3, blockchains, etc, Notion, Discord!!!
I put all my strenght on it and I've learnt more in 12 months than over the last 2 or 3 years!!
I've met amazing people, from Australia to San Francisco, dealing with time zone constrains, having meetings at 1 or 2 am ๐ ๐ sick!!! ๐
And then @lensprotocol !!! Cherry on the top of the cake!!!
What a join and what a life we can have!!!

I hope the garden is good!
Been away few days off and as I can't still login to my Coinbase App I don't have Lens on my phone.
Anyway... 2022 is nearly over and with a new year coming soon we all try to set up some NY resolutions.
I'm doing it for a few years and it helps me to be accountable with myself and have a drive and purpose as to where I want to drive my life to.
I normally make a list of not more than 5 NY main resolutions.
Here are some tips for setting New Year's resolutions:
๐๐ผ Make your resolutions specific and achievable. Instead of resolving to "exercise more," try setting a specific goal such as "exercise for 30 minutes at least three times a week."
๐๐ผ Write down your resolutions. Having them written down can help you stay committed and make it easier to track your progress.
๐๐ผ Set a timeline. Decide when you want to achieve your resolutions and break down your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks.
๐๐ผ Tell someone about your resolutions. Sharing your goals with a friend or family member can help you stay accountable and motivated.
๐๐ผBe kind to yourself. It's important to remember that it's okay if you don't achieve all of your resolutions. Don't beat yourself up if you slip up โ just try again and keep working towards your goals.
๐๐ผCelebrate your successes. When you reach a goal, take a moment to celebrate your accomplishment. This can help keep you motivated and encourage you to continue working towards your other resolutions.
๐๐ผTo check in how it's going I create a list of DID Dos (it can be with the breakdown of the main resolutions or something else you have accomplished - we know we can't plan always everything, so many times we have other shit away of us to get done).
I review this list at the end of every month.
๐๐ผWhen you feel lost or lacking motivation take a look at this list and see how and what you've accomplished and don't be shy to share/discuss it with your closer ones. You'll be proud if yourself
I hope this will help you guys.

All good in the garden?
Today let's dive in DAOs
**What are a DAO main KPIs?**
A DAO, or Decentralized Autonomous Organization, is a decentralized network that is run by a group of individuals who make decisions through a set of rules encoded into smart contracts. Because DAOs are decentralized, they do not have a traditional management structure or hierarchy. Instead, they operate based on the decisions of their members, who vote on proposals and actions using a blockchain-based voting system.
There are several key performance indicators (KPIs) that are commonly used to measure the effectiveness and success of a DAO. These include:
1 - Participation rate: This refers to the percentage of eligible members who participate in voting on proposals or actions. A high participation rate indicates that the DAO is engaging its members and that they are actively involved in decision-making.
2 - Decision-making efficiency: This refers to the speed at which the DAO is able to make decisions and take action. A DAO that is able to make decisions quickly and efficiently is more likely to be successful in achieving its goals.
3 - Funding: A DAO may be funded through a variety of means, such as through the sale of tokens, donations, or the allocation of a portion of the profits generated by the DAO. The amount of funding a DAO receives can be used as a measure of its success.
4 - Network size: The size of a DAO's network can be used as a measure of its success, as it reflects the number of individuals and organizations that are participating in and supporting the DAO.
5 -User adoption: The number of individuals or organizations using the services or products offered by the DAO can be used as a measure of its success.
6 - Impact: The impact that a DAO has on its users and the broader community can also be used as a measure of its success. This could include the value that the DAO provides to its members, the positive social or environmental impact it has, or the level of innovation it brings to its industry.
What are your thoughts about this?
Would love to hear some feedback ๐

All good in the hood?
Web3 is the fastest developing tech ever! It's simply crazy!! But we all love it, right?
With such a demand, resources are still not enough.
One of the most requested skills will be project managing, but what it is to be a Web3 Project Manager?
I've been managing AME and IT projects over the last 10 years and I can just say that you can use all your skills and background and aplly them in the Web3 World.
Let's dive๐๐
As a web3 project manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the development and implementation of decentralized applications (DApps) and other projects that use blockchain technology. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of web3 technologies, project management principles, and agile development methodologies.
Here are some steps you can take to become a good web3 project manager:
๐๐ผ Gain a solid understanding of web3 technologies: This includes blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. You should also be familiar with popular web3 platforms like Ethereum, EOS, and TRON.
๐๐ผ Learn project management principles: This includes planning, budgeting, risk management, and communication. There are many resources available to help you learn these principles, such as Project Management Institute (PMI) certification courses and online resources.
๐๐ผ Understand agile development methodologies: Agile development is a popular approach to managing projects that involves frequent iteration and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Familiarize yourself with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, and Kanban.
๐๐ผ Gain practical experience: The best way to become a good web3 project manager is to gain practical experience working on web3 projects. You can do this by volunteering for web3-related projects in your community, participating in hackathons, or interning with a company that works with web3 technologies.
๐๐ผ Continuously learn and stay up to date: The web3 space is constantly evolving, so it's important to stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices. This may involve attending webinars, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
๐๐ผ Get familiar with Discord, Twitter, Lens, Mirror,Notion, Blockchain analysis, DAOs, NFTs, Tokens, Snapshot, POAPs.
In a nutshell - find a COMMUNITY that shares your values and that is working around a project you're passioned about and GET INVOLVED!!!
Be consistent, but do not beat yourself up.
We're here for the long term, so we need to be PATIENT

DeFi World give us the chance to freely go and check what's happening in the blockchain in regards transactions.
This is the so called on-chain analysis or Blockchain analysis and I f@ken .. love it!! ๐
Let's take a deep dive ๐๐
On-chain analysis refers to the process of examining data recorded on a blockchain to gain insights about the activity taking place on that blockchain. It is a powerful tool that can be used to understand trends, identify patterns, and make predictions about the future direction of a blockchain-based project.
One of the key benefits of on-chain analysis is that it provides a transparent and objective view of activity on the blockchain. This is because all transactions on a blockchain are recorded in a public ledger, and anyone can view this data to see what is happening.
There are many different types of on-chain analysis that can be performed. For example, one common approach is to examine the volume of transactions on the blockchain over time. This can help to identify trends in usage and adoption, as well as any spikes or dips in activity.
Another approach is to look at the distribution of tokens or assets on the blockchain. This can provide insight into the concentration of ownership and help to identify any potential centralization or monopolization of resources.
On-chain analysis can also be used to examine the behavior of different groups of users on the blockchain. For example, it can be used to study the activity of early adopters versus late adopters, or to identify patterns of usage among different demographic groups.
Overall, on-chain analysis is an important tool for anyone looking to understand the activity and dynamics of a blockchain-based project. It can provide valuable insights and help to inform decision-making, whether you are an investor, developer, or simply a member of the community.

- **The powerful weekly review**
Taking a few minutes each week to collect loose ends, assess your progress and plan ahead is a simple hack to help you stay focused, motivated and achieve success. I find this process gives me an awareness of where Iโm at and that elusive sense of calm when thereโs a million happening all around me.
My review consists of the following steps:
**Reflect**
*Some people love to journal, Iโm more of a dot points kinda guy. Regardless adopting the headspace to reflect is key.*
- What worked well?
- Where did I get stuck?
- What did I learn?
**Collect**
*This is really about collecting any loose ends that are taking up mental bandwidth.*
- Work through any โInboxesโ (more on this in another post soon).
**Process**
- Allocate tasks from inbox to projects
- Check status of โwaiting forโ tasks
- Eyeball the โsomeday/maybeโ list to see if thereโs anything that should be worked on in the coming week
**Review**
- Look at each project and make sure itโs up to date and has a next action
- Review quarterly or annual goals to ensure theyโre still aligned
**Plan**
- Plan out the coming week - you might use time blocking or prioritisation or some other method that helps you know what to do next so you donโt have to spend your week planning, you can just do the work.
Iโve found this to be a really beneficial discipline to practice every week. But the reality is that the wheels often fall off these systems and weeks pass without doing it. *The real power of this process is that you can pick it up and do it at any point to get back on track.* If you havenโt done it for a while itโll take longer, but all you have to do is work through it from start to finish and youโre back on track.
I've developed Notion.so templates to facilitate this process that I'm happy to share. Let me know in the comments and I'll DM you a link.

Fraud is bad. According to [NFT News Today](https://nftnewstoday.com/2022/12/14/top-web3-fraud-detection-start-ups-to-watch/), *โscammers and hackers drained over $504M from web3 protocols in just the third quarter of 2022.* Most common attacks? Exit Scams and Flash loan attacks make the list, according to Certik. **Letโs see four of them.
A thread ๐ ๐ ๐
1. **Sardine** โ Sardine uses behavior biometrics & machine learning models to train them about fraud patterns. They also created a risk SDK to sniff out suspicious devices and sessions using integrated fraud and compliance technology.
2. **Cylynx** โ How do they approach fraud detection? Their path is to use graph data during the detection process. [Cylynx]
(https://www.cylynx.io/crypto-news-api/) has three solutions to help with fraud detection โ [Motif ( https://www.cylynx.io/motif), transaction monitoring, and the [Crypto News API] (https://www.cylynx.io/crypto-news-api/).
3. **AnChain** โ AnChain aids developers by helping them build compliant solutions via a patented risk engine. [AnChain] (https://anchain.ai/) encourages you to see why they are the best AI-powered blockchain intelligence platform for security, risk, and compliance.
4. **Optic** โ Enter in real-time NFT copymint detection because of the unique partnership between Optic and OpenSea. Optic for Marketplaces allows OpenSea to detect and remove copymints in less than **.5** **seconds.**
Fraudulent activities endanger web3 users who are in the space with goodwill. Fraud detection start-ups have a goal โ stop the bad guys by combining multiple technologies while leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence. WAGMI!

1 - ๐ค Imagine not having a third party involved in your transactions. In other words, no banks, no credit card companies, or any other intermediaries. Thatโs what blockchain technology makes possible.๐
2 - ๐ค Now imagine being on a game show called Blockchain. You and the other contestants are on a deserted island where everyone was given a satellite cell phone with a special app called DeLedger. The phone is also preloaded with a certain amount of cryptocurrency.๐คญ
3 - ๐ฒ This app, from day one, would record and track every transaction on the island in batches called blocks. The blocks would be linked chronologically and have codes linking them to previous blocks. And everyone will have a mirrored copy for validation purposes. ๐
4 - ๐ฒ Every contestant will also have a chance to make money by approving and creating transactions on the chain (this is the only way to make money). The goal is to make as much money as you canโฆ
This, my fren, is a blockchain, and how it worksโฆ Not literally, but fundamentally. ๐๐๐๐

- GM Frens,
If you are using Web3 social networks, youโre concerned about users instead of profits. Your focus is to create a better experience for your users. They get to make decisions without the pain of being ruled by centralization, which is good.
A thread ๐ ๐ ๐
Web3 social platforms actually **care** about what creators & users think. Users joining web3 social platforms can enjoy freedom to shape their features and vision. There are six reasons why web3 is better for users. See below what they are.
1. **Interoperability & composability put user experiences first.** โ More decentralization, less censorship โ perfect, right? Users own the networks they build and can decide on monetization themselves. They share personal info & feel secure.
2. **Decentralization Means Fairer Censorship** - Censorship is necessary in **some** cases. However, censorship must reflect the values of the wider community on a particular platform. Itโs about making platforms open to all who want to use them.
3. **Identity Ownership & Portability** Ownership & data portability are the best unlocks of web3 social. Without ownership, your hard-earned networks can be lost forever. In web3, that doesnโt happen. Your social profile is yours.
4. **Control Over Monetization and Engagement** - Creator monetization in web2 is broken. In web3, many platforms see the value of creators and are putting them first.
This is the kind of control that web2 platforms will never give creators.
1. **Trustless, Instant Identity & Credential Verifications** - In web2, thereโs no real digital verification process for credentials. In web3, the opposite occurs. Credentials can easily be verified on-chain. This keeps us safer from scammers.
2. **Web3 is More Secure** - Web2 platforms use centralized databases providing a single point of vulnerability that hackers can exploit. Through decentralization, cryptography & Zero-Knowledge Proofs, protocols protect user data all the time.
