- Called an elevator company to get some info on a lift. I was informed that the rep I needed to talk to was not in right now and if I left my name and number he'd get back to me. I did, and then asked if he’d be back today or next week. The person on the other end of the line paused…
"he keeps his own schedule"
- It's summer (nearly) shill me your favorite moisture wicking t shirts please.
- Hey @lens/0xmoe you didn’t ask, but some thoughts :)
Would it be possible to merge duplicate posts from FC and Lens? So I post something to both protocols it only shows up in the buttrfly feed once? Maybe you get all 3 icons next to each other: buttrfly, lens, fc.
And, could the repost/quote button also allow you to post/cast it into the other protocol?
- I mean, if your products aren’t made for NASA, what are you even doing?
- Spring always gets me musically nostalgic to warm days spent idling on the porch. Albums of the day: Boxer by the National, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga by Spoon, Writer’s Block by PB&J
I won’t steep to MGMT or Matt and Kim yet today.
- Gn, will be delving into this:
"Whenever people learn something sufficiently well, they cease to be aware of it." / "…only when things disappear in this way are we freed to use them without thinking and so to focus beyond them on new goals"

- Just give us the rules already!

- Kind of wild that contractors petition the architect to approve their invoice to clients.
- There’s got to be a better way.
- First big city trip with the infant. Wish us luck 🤞
- Spent 5 hours in the car on Thursday to drive to a construction site for a 1 hour meeting onsite. Imagine the general contractor wearing AVP (or other brand) and giving me an immersive walkthrough without leaving my office?
- I just claimed my $BONSAI reward on @lens/orb!
- This is a great data for joining new clubs! Love it!
Would def recommending changing “where’re” to “where are” tho, that contraction is hella confusing :)
- Bullish on interoperability
Bearish on ownability.
- The Apple watch should have a “lawn mowing” exercise category.

- Think about where you live. Is there a space - room, wall, corner, cabinet - that you wish you could make better?
What’s stopping you?
- Thinking about publishing a “home manual” as a way to catalogue the work I’ve done on my house and document the knowledge I’ve accumulated with a focus on adapting spaces to fit fluid lives.
- found a quarter on the sidewalk. I’m 25x on luck today.
- AI is going to give non-architects a significant amount of leverage over the design and materialization of their environments. Architects are not thinking about how this will impact their value proposition as a key broker of the built (and unbuilt) environment.
- Left my rss feed unattended for a few days 😱
- I make a lot of things. I’ve built two houses, renovated my own, made several chairs, and continuously tweak my spaces. When thinking about new furniture my approach is to prototype fast and cheaply.
Find out if it works or not, you can always make it nicer later or maybe the prototype is good enough.
- Architecture from inception to creation is a long process.
It would be interesting to see a more responsive product delivery method. Would that mean shifting from a service offering to more of a product offering, or is there a way to make the “architectural service” more inherently consumable at scale?
- AEC industry market thoughts:
Architects are too limiting, they generally don't have extra capital and approach efficiency as an employee problem
Snipe market share *from* architects. Specialize the product, capture customers who use architects and expand customer base that would otherwise be missed (affordability)
- Are architects part of the creator economy?
- Starting to play with some ideas around documentation in architecture: both visual and textual.

- Farcaster is feeling a lot like the early #LMCC days of lens. There’s energy around collecting/minting over the web2 native forms of interaction.
I see pros and cons to this.
I prioritized lens over Twitter and then in the last month or two, FC over lens because it was less overwhelming of a space to be in…but now there’s a merging of the activity, users, and content that doesn’t leave much room for the people I’ve built relationships with. I think there’s room for a client that allows you to rate limit and focus your feed in a better way — permissionless but controlled (I know, a contradiction). In FC, my fear is that those conversations are moving into private DC groups (which means new people don’t even know they exist). in Lens, the best I’ve been able to find is @lens/buttrfly lists (which is my primary feed for lens now), but again this is individual curation rather than communal focusing.
Is the answer channel/community moderation?

- Ledger has been hacked on their delivery service as they load the script via CDN, which then allowed someone to inject a malicious script:

Developers, uninstall the Ledger connector.

- Anyone have any good resources for creating an open action. I’ve read through the docs a few times, but would benefit from a more elementary walkthrough.
I guess I could also load the docs into cursor and see what happens.
- This is not related to @lens/orb directly, but since you all are working with erc6551 for communities, wondering if you had any insight about tokenbound v3? From what I read v3 is multichain, but aren’t orb community nfts already on polygon and using v2?
cc/ @lens/kipto
- Any idea what these tokens are and why I keep receiving them at regular intervals?
Wallets need a setting to require recipient approval to send random tokens.
- where’s @lens/ryanfox?
