some lens alpha for the devs, Open Actions is the killer feature for Lens V2 and will become the standard in web3 social interactions if utilised correctly. Let me elaborate So far, Lens V1 goal was to reach feature parity with the social features you're used to in Web2 platforms. This was achieved , along with few cool web3 features like Collects. Open actions allows you to take collects to the next level. it gives you DeFi level modularity with contextual social information, allowing you make your contracts integrate social features!! Example: Let's say I have a defi aggregator that lets you deposit money in different protocols based on yield. what value would open actions bring you? - scenario 1: user deposits into a fresh liquidity protocol, you can encourage the user to share this as a post on lens with an open action you crafted. - The open action allows followers of this user on lens to one click copy the position and deploy capital into that pool - your action can take into account who referred the user, this way they get a referral fee later. - This can work cross-chains with few additions, you're not locked to where lens is deployed. Adding these sort of features to your product could change the game for the growth of your TVL, growth doesn't happen by accident, well it does, but sustainable growth doesn't. Don't get me started on the kinda shit you can build with AI and this. can't discuss that.. The docs has a nice use case for tipping you should check out. A lot of users were confused by an unknown address managing their profiles. In most cases, it was the default Lens Profile Manager, which provides a gasless and signless experience. We've made some UX improvements, and now if the address is the Lens Manager, we display the Lens logo and name. PS: You can add/remove profile managers directly from orb!

Looking back at DeFi. We built something empowering, borderless and a democratizing financial system. I hope we forget how hard it was to build DeFi, because its extremely hard. Is it worth it? Yes. Blockchain tech exist to build systems that previously were error prone by the managing people. There are still countries that do not give decent access to banking, yield or even stable currency. Most of the governments still fund their budgets by printing money, meaning diluting value of your savings. It's not a system that is not build for the best interests of the people.
