**1️⃣ Sommelier Finance**
Sommelier Finance is enabling the creation of state-of-the-art DeFi strategies that leverage Aave v3. Their Real Yield ETH vault by Seven Seas Capital and DeFine Logic Labs has already directed close to $5M to v3 for leveraged staking.
**2️⃣ Liquidation Backtesting Tool by @wardenfinance.lens**
Building upon their previous dashboards to enable anyone to simulate historical liquidation profitability for all Aave assets and deployments to validate the robustness of liquidation penalties.
**3️⃣ Xenophon Labs**
Xenophon Labs will perform an analysis of the Aave Safety Module and deliver a:
🧪 Research paper that determines an optimal value for the slashing percentage.
⚖️ Forum post — and governance vote, once the SM requires it — to optimize the slashing percentage.
**4️⃣ Mosaic**
Mosaic will continue building their data analytics platform, including provisioning Aave Liquidity data, creating a model from that data, and generating insights from the activity of Aave LPs.
**5️⃣ Console by Brahma**
Console will help to onboard users to Aave, improve security, and enable non-custodial asset management. Console will streamline the @gho.lens minting and position rebalancing process by leveraging Safe and @gelato.lens.
**6️⃣ DeFi Simulator**
DeFi Simulator will internationalize its Aave debt simulator to allow people across the globe to understand their Aave health factor and borrowing power in their local language and currency.
**7️⃣ Credit Delegation Marketplace by ProtoFire | Milestone 2**
The second milestone for ProtoFire.io's Credit Delegation Marketplace built on Aave using a peer-to-pool model. Current progress is visible in their Github.

- 26 Towards Infinite Gardens with Ethereum in Latin America — @marcus.lens
Marcus AM is a creator, researcher, builder and artist. Fellow of the Ethereum Foundation and co-creator of Ethereum Guatemala. Researcher and author of the Last Mile Defi Report on crypto adoption in Latin America. Host and producer of the Odisea Podcast, and recently the Last Mile DeFi Podcast.
In this episode we talk about Marcus’ origin stories growing up in rural Guatemala, observing corruption and fraught financial infrastructure leading to his early interest in Bitcoin. Through to verging into the crypto builder space and being accepted as a fellow of the Ethereum Foundation to research opportunities, challenges and use cases for crypto adoption in Latin America.
We also talk about crypto as a counterculture movement, Marcus’ interests in podcasting, supporting young developers and teams in the Latin American ecosystem, and the impact created by Devcon and ETH Global events happening in the region.

- **Lens SDK 1.1 - Improvements in this release**
1) Momoka support

**What's new?**
**Momoka support**
The Lens SDK React hooks now support Momoka publications. To start using Momoka today just upgrade to `@lens-protocol/react-web@latest` and the SDK will take care of the rest.
The Lens SDK will choose Momoka posts over on-chain posts automatically based on your collect settings. It will also know when comments and mirrors need to be on Momoka infrastructure based on the referencing publication.
**Self-funded transactions fallback**
Occasionally gasless transactions might not be available for a given profile. To provide continuity in your user experience you can now fallback to execute transactions using the user's funds to cover gas costs. More documentation is available here: https://docs.lens.xyz/docs/self-funded-transactions
**Bi-directional pagination traversing**
It's now possible to traverse paginated results in both directions (older and newer results).
This allows you to implement functionalities such as "pull to refresh" on a mobile app or fetch newer feed entries. See this example as a reference: https://github.com/lens-protocol/lens-sdk/blob/main/examples/web-wagmi/src/discovery/UseFeed.tsx#L63
**Supports limited free collects**
Last month we launched a new collect module called `SimpleCollectModule`. In this SDK release, you can leverage all its potential. For example, you can define a Free Collect with a limited number of NFTs to be minted.
**`LensClient` improvements**
We added `client.authentication.verify` and `client.authentication.getAccessToken` methods to enable extraction and verification of someone's API credentials.
