- Final project presentation has been done today. It's a great journey! I've learned a lot of how to build an AI application and glad not so much math during courses to scare me off, lol 😆 . And super thankful for my teammates, they're talented, skilled and kind <3.
Taking a little break and getting ready for my next adventure 🌻🌻🌻 ☕️ ~

- hurry up!
- “I know that I am broken, but I promise I can be fixed”
This is where it all started.
‘Broken’ was the first song I released, and it was written as a letter to my parents
It’s about love, forgiveness, and fear of change
This video was recorded by my sister, and a friend, and directed and edited by me
Fun fact: one of my biggest fears used to be skydiving, so for the video I decided to face that fear and jump of a plane 🪽

- Wow, this is so cute. And it reminds me of my former roommate's cat. She would jump to us whenever we come home.
Would she also wait for us like when we're off for work🙀. So healing 😻😻😻.
- smol tribute to @lens/agrislis 's cat holding bonsai
- Though every time Next updates, new bugs would be introduced for maintaining ( and Next updates frequently, lol), it's still my top choice for frontend framework and I'm willing to take the time to solve these new introduced bugs and keep up with it 😮💨😮💨☕️
- Underappreciated meme - boosting
- This, is actually a thread 🙃
- Had a dinner with an engineer friend. He told me he wants to pivot to frontend, so I was joking about how many details I need to tackle to make a good ux, how I got frustrated everytime NextJs updates and how many blogs I need to read daily.

Why I didn't know it when I first learn the two concepts🥲
- I personally believe the keys to longevity are:
- dancing (anti-depressant)
- community (anti-loneliness)
I'm not totally sold on all of the peptides, concoctions and pills will do it better, but I have an open mind.

Lots of conflicts, confusions and emotions this week, but I'm totally refreshed after my afternoon working out.
❤️ 💝 💕 💫 💫 💫 ~
- I AM SO HAPPY!
Small recognition is also recognition ☕️ ~ And tbh, the tech, (Open) Frames itself is very exciting and the frameworks hackathon push me really building around it, the whole journey is filled with joy
Not to mention I had an amazing teammate, Jamie @chicago
- Now, have been visiting gym twice a week for a month. Won't increase the frequency in short future, my schedule is crazy now(good sign 😆) ☕️☕️ ☕️ ~
- Weekends fly so fast...
I love my work as a swe, but sometimes, I just wish my laptop just burn 🔥 itself with all the meetings, docs and codes.
Made some stable diffusion paintings during the weekend ☕. Wish us a week filled with joy, hyacinth and cozy atmosphere.

- Code generative animation -- Ice
When I first visit the website of [AntFu](https://antfu.me/), I was amazed by the background animation⬇️. Though interested, I thought it would be too complex for me to try. Until recently,...

- Introduce : Ice ⬇️😎 ( animation coded with React + TS + <canvas />)
This one is more hard😮💨, but 'the coding process is very creative and fun' (by antfu) ✨. Just wish I can finish writing the related blog tomorrow ☕️☕️🫠.

- Just confirmed my spot of AI Bootcamp by @encodeclub. Hope this time the classes won't be 2am again 🤣🤣🤣. And the education provided by encode is alway high quality and high engagement, so I'm willing to take it even it starts 2am again XD
- What if we focused less on onboarding and more on purpose?
Fans🪭 want few things: music, to love their artist, to find a community, to be seen by their community & artist.
The rest is just fluff
- Go wild😎⬇️
I've seen the Rust(https://100.antfu.me/015) by antfu. It's so cool. I would try Ice tomorrow☕️
Little hint of how to make the tree:
1. "algorithm": each branch would generate two branches, and recursively repeat the process. Add randomness to the length, angel and when to stop.
2. draw it with <canvas />
3. use `requestAnimationFrame` to achieve animation effect
- Do you like the tree animation I created with React & <canvas />⬇️ ☕️ ? Inspired by the website(https://antfu.me) of @antfu7 .
It's generative art and the tree is different every time you refresh the page. It's really fun, gonna play with it more ✨🚀

- Hahaha, what an unique experience in #LFGHO @lens/will_jiang And thank Family for the $ 83.3 prize <3 <3 <3~
The origin of GHOTip is really simple: Me and Will went out for dinner and the tips are insanely high, however, under social pressure, we had to pay it all. So we're wondering whether we can make tipping anonymously. Yes, here're enough contradictory discussions about tipping, and the project is just to provide another option and have fun in the #LFGHO hackathon.
Great experience, first time writing circuit, only have 2 days for the frontend development which luckily I'm very skilled at.
Tornado Cash is the main inspiration of our project model and it's really a good material to learn about #zk. However, the OFAC issue makes people don't want to talk about it. What a shame 😒
- Great work during #LFGHO https://ghooey.netlify.app/ @lens/naomi ! I just read the docs, the writing is in depth and thoughtful. Always appreciate Naomi's work <3
- GM, ☕ ~
First time went to the gym since I was born, lol.

Using #Nextra (a framework to build Docs, another popular framework is docusaurus) to develop the doc website for my custom-ui project. The development experience is so smooth. I sincerely feel Nextra give more modern dev experience and I don't need the fancy features only docusaurus provides.
However, a funny joke today:
While I was enjoying simplicity of #Nextra, I met a bug with the search box, it only search few of the pages (in fact, it would search the pages I visited, but I didn't realize it).
I searched the docs, googled it, github issues... but still don't get a good answer. Then I accidently saw "Nextra indexes your content automatically at build-time", and found it's due to I'm in dev mode, so only pages visited would be indexed.
Thought I was a genius, util I found the problem has already been discussed in Nextra's gitHub issues and the reason I didn't find it is that I mistook the tabs of nextra-template and nextra!
I'm a real genius 🤣 🤣 🤣
The details and explanation of the search problem in dev mode : https://github.com/shuding/nextra/issues/2077#issuecomment-1644905328
- Was using AI to make pixel art.
Enjoy this lil' corgi in the snow lol
- GM,☕️~
Generally adding simple docs for custom-ui: https://github.com/Ricy137/Custom-ui/blob/main/src/components/Tabs/index.md . Currently in the 'self-use' phase, and these docs are here to make it easier for me to remember how to use the components 🤣.( though my personal belief is when I need to write comments for my codes, I need to reflect why my codes can't speak for themselves first, for now, I've opted for docs over changes in the code. 🫠 ).
Would share a decent frontend for these components when I finished reviewing and writing simple self-use docs for these components. I'm excited about that🚀💪😎!
- HNY everyone!
2024 and Lens to me is about finding the unfamiliar again and truly building generational tech and products. Copying what’s come before is the safer and easier choice but doesn’t create the same groundbreaking impact.
I reflect a lot on TikTok, when I joined I knew ByteDance had built something innovative in Asia, but it’s future in the west in wasn’t so clear. My friends thought I was crazy leaving my current situation and didn’t understand what it could become. To everyone now it’s obvious, but back then it wasn’t and disregarded by many before it’s hockey stick growth and inflection point.
Being able to now say I was part of a generational global product now is something I’m very proud of. I’ll never forget being allocated the same desk in NYC WeWork with 12 desks as Zhang Yiming on my first day who was in town and graciously told me to keep it. Or early days having the opportunity to be in meetings with Alex Zhu whose philosophy about social apps as countries and co creation as a social fabric still resonates today and blue print for social builders. Even I didn’t realize it at the time how lucky I was, but I hold these moments today.
It’s why in jumped into web3 finally after many years of being on the surface personally. I had conviction after my bet on ByteDance played out and excited to embark on another.
Next goal is being able to say I was part of infrastructure backbone making possible the next wave of innovative consumer products.
While the power of @lens/lensprotocol may be invisible to most, if there is one thing I’ve learned it’s that game changing tech more than often comes from what not everyone sees.
It’s never what’s familiar and expected to all. That’s why it’s disruptive.
2024 let’s rock.
