**Recap:**
Happy Friday! Wahoo! I missed our last recap last week as I was at NFT NYC all week. Man, that week was a banger. Soooo many events it was a blast. So good catching up with friends and seeing all the art.
**Highlights:**
-I did my first panel with Transient Labs on my art. That ruled
-My work was on a mobile truck roaming NYC all week
-Was part of The Canal Street Show on April 5th curated by Efdot, which was an unreal opportunity.

-Met a lot of great folks in the space across all chains. The vibes were high and partied way too much. lol
**Takeaways:**

-Adoption is happening!
**This week:**
After NFT NYC ended on Sunday, I literally got sick after. I've been in bed since Thursday recovering. A lot of folks got sick that week as well. Someone spread the bug and we all got it. Brutal week but managed to get some things done.
-I had a meeting with my agent at Ludlow House in NYC on Thursday to talk about a few commercial projects in the works.
-I got a green light for a new mural out in Portland, Oregon back home at a private home in their gym. Excited to start sketching out ideas for this. I'll likely be painting this early May after I fly back from NYC.
-I got some serious inspo from these events and got a great idea for my next big project. Currently in talks with a few brands and getting concepts/pitches going. This won't launch likely until late Summer.
Lots going on and should be more productive next week as the flu kicked my ass.

We recorded On The Other Side at the famous Ocean Way Studio in Nashville, TN.

A few years back, was at my grandpa's house in Idaho Falls watching this eclipse go down. Honestly, top 10 things I've seen in my life as the shadows appeared, animals froze, and the moon and sun crossed paths of totality. Unreal.
Today, I'm in NYC watching this go down in the city, way different experience, which is totally groovy and still mad fun.
As I reflect on photos, I found this older piece I created 'Moonrise Kingdom' and instantly hit home for me. A mix of solar eclipse meets a full moon at night. In a way, the opposite since it would be darker while surfing, but at the same time makes sense to share this out today.
This drawing is an open edition for prints on my website and felt right about making this a open edition on @lens/lens

- Valentia Piano - Along the west coast of County Kerry in Ireland you will find the amazing Valentia Island. Attached by a bridge to the mainland, it is a place of beauty touched by years of history and the songs of the sea. Back in 2013 I managed to obtain a house there for a few weeks, I took my computer and mic with me not knowing what to expect when I got there. In one of the rooms sat a piano, and as my fingers touched the keys I knew there was a story there waiting to be told. The sound of the piano in that place was something very magical as 100mph winds battered the house and interrupted my recordings. Other material has since emerged from those days spent on the island, but the main body of work that I recorded there makes up this album’’ Originally released in 2013 it’s now been remastered and repressed on 180 Gram vinyl (with the original gatefold sleeve containing the lyrics inside). 500 vinyl copies due to be release April 19th 2024. @club/music @club/vinylandmusic @club/orb #music
