- When I saw this, my heart stopped. It's always hard to see projects that you trusted and shared being exploited. But - and this message is directed to all content creators - this highlights the importance of conducting a quick due diligence before making recommendations. And I did just that.
I checked my own transactions, the team, the project behind it, and the people involved.
And this is where it pays off. People will make mistakes. Teams will make mistakes. It's how they handle those mistakes that determines their trustworthiness.
Congratulations to the @quadraticlenster.lens team and @owocki.lens for their quick communication, prompt fixes, and refunds. Waiting for the postmortem.

- We made a fork of lenster and deployed our own slightly modified version of the Allo protocol to polygon in order to enable quadratic voting on the lens protocol. So if a post is in one of the rounds every tip on that post is counted as a vote and the number of votes and the value of the tips given are used to calculate the amount that post will receive from the matching pool for that round. Many small tips > a few big tips. This allows public goods funding to be made available directly on social media.

Started the course in fall with a study group, but our leader had to quit and our group disbanded and with holidays and EthDenver, I didn't keep it up. I went into the TEAcademy discord and voiced a request to join another study group, cuz I could use the regular accountability check ins, and someone reached out to help me join a group that just got started with the course. My first meeting with them is on Friday! I'm excited. The Token Engineering Fundamentals course is exciting!
