- don’t confuse spirituality with being poor, don’t confuse being an artist with playing the victim, have some respect for yourself, if you have a problem and i give you a solution but you keep crying you are just a psychopath with a sheep costume and i don’t want you close, I prefer to be infected by people who wants to conquer the world instead of complaining about it.

- “Harmony”
Society is akin to a vast puzzle, where each of us represents an essential piece contributing to its completion. With our individual flaws and strengths, we collectively craft the intricate mosaic we call society. Unfortunately, in our current times, this puzzle appears more fragmented than ever. We often overlook the inherent beauty within one another and our collective, focusing instead on perceived flaws that divide us, hindering our progress toward unity
Through “Harmony”, I aim to present a glimpse of what the completed puzzle of society could resemble—a portion that has discovered peace through unity and the acceptance of one another, flaws and all. This harmonious coexistence serves as a beacon of hope, demonstrating what we can aspire to achieve together. It calls upon us to open our minds and hearts, allowing love, kindness, and empathy to permeate our beings, catalyzing the assembly of the broader societal puzzle
I envision this piece as an inspiration for you, igniting within your minds and souls a vision of the beautiful tapestry that society can become, as well as recognizing the indispensable role each of us plays in its construction
Though we may be individual pieces, together, we form a greater whole!🌹

- "00 - FOTNS" is me jamming out at my desk on a cold morning in the fall of 2021. At this point I'd moved into my first apartment in a gorgeous neighbourhood, but I still felt like something was missing in my life, and I wasn't doing enough or hadn't figured it out. So I did what I do best; make music reflecting how I feel.
Also, the title; I was watching "Fist of The North Star" the previous night. You might want to watch a scene or two on mute with this song playing in the background.
Enjoy

Blayze Deville
- Thursday, October 25th, 2018; that was the day that I wrote and recorded this song, and thinking about it, it could have been the last song I ever made. I was sleeping on couches after losing almost everything and I was too embarrassed to admit defeat and move back home, but not that it was much of an option, because my mother lost her home a few months earlier, and I couldn't get a hold of my father either. All that I had at that point was my girlfriend and music, but I still felt overwhelmingly lonely, and I wanted it all to end.
The intention was to make this song, leave it playing on repeat, and go dive off of a high-rise in Hillbrow. Once I finished recording the song, by some coincidence, I got a call from one of my best friends, Vitu (who is notoriously difficult to reach on the phone) and he told me that some artists that he knows from Lewisham loved my music and wanted to link with me to work before they had to leave Johannesburg in two days to go back to London. So, we setup the meeting for Friday afternoon, and meeting the bros and seeing their reactions to my work that day was all that I needed at that point. I felt encouraged, I felt like I needed to stay alive, to keeping grinding, and making more art. Me answering that phone call from Vitu that Thursday was such a divine thing, and I'll always be grateful for it.
Anyway, here's some music.
Enjoy,
Blayze Deville
