last year we looked at buying land for Astrid Park in Joshua Tree but because we’re Canadian and the properties we wanted were off grid we needed all cash
we’re still committed and working towards that goal
maybe we’ll be able to buy it with @lens/bonsai and then get a cute little Bonsai Boler - we’re saving all the drops we got for this

For most of you, you already know why we love it here.
I often find that once people actually learn about what has already been built in this ecosystem they want to join. This article is to help with that.
It features a @thisweekon.lens image by @punkess.lens, a @buttrfly.lens screenshot that I loved organically shows @jamesfinnerty.lens and a space by @ryanfox.lens. I shared an image of some rewards I earned via some @wav3s.lens campaigns.
Here are a few small snippets

...What if social media could change? What if there were ways to not only connect more authentically (in the way you want, not how the platform dictates), but also to support people and projects you care about and, in return, be rewarded?
There is no need to be a big influencer or brand here, Lens is paving the way for a new micro-ecosystem. This means the average person can benefit. Whether that be by re-sharing content you love, posting about things you care about, adding value in the comment section or even posting your own work.
...Human connection is built upon little things that bring us together. Lens is building a thoughtful place for all kinds of people to converge and connections to form.
It isn’t just a social media platform, a defi tool, or a social graph protocol, it’s something new and with our increasingly digital world, we need something new.'
I’m hoping to write more, as this is just the tip of the iceberg.

- hiya, it’s us! jacquie + @lanadingwall.lens at #winniethewinnebago, our groovy 1978 camper that we revived back to life two summers ago
because of the amazing work of @morrey.lens + the rest of upside co-ops work we're able to revisit the idea of not just offering our park pass holders/co-creators free stays with us, but profit sharing as well
our goal has always been to redefine how businesses engage + grow with their community + this legal framework is a very exciting step towards it
