- Guess what breed of puppy this is?
- Today to send a Samoyed, say how are you doing? I've had a lot of changes, a busy day, often accompanied by disappointment. But I'm sure it will get better.
- Big thanks to our Aave Fam! 🤍
Aave Protocol V3 is now live on the Ethereum market 🚀
”The most exciting aspect of V3 is its flexible design, which enables a variety of new risk mitigation features, and its improved capital efficiency and decentralized liquidity – all while reducing gas costs.” @stani.lens
With the deployment of V3 on Ethereum mainnet, Aave’s first and largest market, our community has unlocked new technical features and benefits, including 👇
🔋 **High-Efficiency Mode:** allows users to increase their capital efficiency when supplying and borrowing correlated assets like stablecoins and liquid staking derivates (LSDs)
💪 **Isolation Mode:** enables more assets to be listed on Aave as collateral while maintaining the security of the protocol. Liquidity risks can be siloed by listing assets in isolation mode.
⛽️ **Gas Optimization:** reduces gas costs associated with all the functions across the board by ~ 20-25%.
Our migration tool for moving your assets from V2 ➡️ V3 is ready to help all the DeFi ghosts 👻 out there to move your positions over smoothly in a single transaction. Deep dive into the migration tool and more in the V3 ETH blog here: https://aave.mirror.xyz/K9gQPsv-hAH-gO4oH2i0Oen8uQEHYL5q8x9xjN9XnmA
Decentralization drives our community forward 🚀 and with this shared mission in mind, we will continue to build and innovate together 👻.

- I know that somewhere in the world, there was a you that I loved, but unfortunately that has become a memory.
- I think about you, I do not want to leave you.
- I would like lenster to have the computing power to match that of Twitter, so that I can increase my user experience, which is still smoother than Twitter. On Twitter I have already posted 1800 tweets, but on lenster I have only posted less than 50.
- I'm looking forward to the day we will suddenly meet, although at that time you and I no longer belong to each other.
- I think of you when I'm lonely
- I wondered where we were that winter. And who was around?
- I heard that you miss me, is it true? I think about you every day.
- I'm just going to watch you and see what tricks you're playing.
- No one can say no to bernese, at least not me, how about you? Will you fall in love with bernese?
- I would like to create that Lens account as a platform for information related to bernese dogs, I wonder if it is feasible? But I'm willing to try and make more people know and love bernese.

- As I had not used orbiter.finance to transfer funds from StarkNet to zkSync, I closed my browser the second time I needed to sign a transaction after initiating it, and when I opened it again the funds were already on the chain and could not be signed again. The point is that the StarkNet network is very slow to respond, so I lost patience in waiting.
If the network had been more responsive, I would have been able to sign quickly instead of having to go through the hassle of recovering my assets, so my advice to anyone experiencing the StarkNet network is to be patient.
- It's a long story, but if you read down my home page, I believe you can change your mind.
Bitcoin and blockchain are two different things. If one believes more in the vision of decentralisation, Bitcoin obviously has less regulatory pressure. This means not caring about anything Web3 and just hoarding bitcoins.
Any decentralised smart contract public chain will end up in the regulator's crosshairs. Public chains that kneel directly to regulators have no future. Public chains that are prepared enough for regulation to bypass regulators and get stronger and stronger are the future of public chains.
- Bitcoin is bound to be in the minority for a long time. With 20% of the world recognizing Bitcoin, Bitcoin will be successful enough.
It's hard to see the beauty of Bitcoin when 80% of the population only understands the smart contract public chain, and the NFT and Web3 applications that build on it.
However, since all of these products have financial attributes and aim to be mass products, they cannot be unregulated. Regulation and decentralisation, too, are not exactly opposites.
- Until a product is decentralised, regulatory intervention can prevent centralised project parties from Rug Pulling, or changing the direction of the project at will.
Currently Ether is not decentralised either, but is a centralised project still in development.
When a project achieves mature on-chain and off-chain governance, it is truly decentralised, and the need for regulatory intervention disappears.
Reasonable regulation can drive decentralisation.
- But the direct knee-jerk approach we are now seeing from project parties to regulators to cooperate with regulation by providing user information will not lead to sensible regulation, but to traitors to the industry!
Project parties need to be able to negotiate and BATTLE with regulators to get them to push regulation in a way that fuels decentralisation and builds public confidence in the blockchain industry.
If they kneel directly, they will not only bury the project itself, but will also affect the development of the industry and be the public enemy of the industry.
- If you can't understand the underlying logic above, don't invest in blockchain, it's too risky.
The only one with the most complete decentralized logic and the least regulatory pressure at the moment is Bitcoin, nothing else.
If you want a public chain with mature on-chain and off-chain governance + smart contracts that can serve as a Web3 infrastructure?
Bottom line: it's not quite satisfactory yet, it's still early. Ether clearly doesn't meet all the metrics, at least not yet.
- Bitcoin doesn't need on-chain + off-chain governance because Bitcoin is the simplest.
But smart contract public chains, without mature on-chain and off-chain governance, without a way to assign reasonable permissions to each participating player, and without being able to operate like a mature networked state, cannot be decentralized.
Because these smart contract public chains don't do the same thing as Bitcoin, the promised pie is too big. It's not just about the technology, it's also about the governance and power exploration of the networked state.
- By this standard, my consistent understanding is that I do not see Ether as the final form of the smart contract public chain, but prefer to understand Ether as an early explorer.
When Ether has a mature on-chain and off-chain governance that allows all participants to be part of a mature network state and to function effectively, then it will be a truly decentralised project.
This is the decentralised logic of PoS: citizens + polity + technology + governance = network state.
- So I don't think it's wrong for Ether to transform into PoS, it's the right thing to do. Because Ether is not destined to go the way of Bitcoin, the two are not a species.
But once Ether is converted to PoS, it must have the ability to achieve strong decentralisation according to the logic of the network state.
This relies not only on code, but also on governance (of a kind the Chinese cannot understand) and will be challenged by competitors. There may not be just one network state in the future.
