3- **Discord roles** as requirements. after setting up a guild role, roles given within Discord for contributors/admins/etc fully reflect in Guild. there is smoother translation between Guild and Discord native roles.
4- **@101dotxyz course**. took us a while to get it right, but we made a course, *it's about our community values* and an integral part of our *onboarding process*. since then we are more on the same page about what Our Guild is about with the already 2.6k members completing it.
2- **Discord account details** as requirements, and combining this with other forms of social validation to keep roles free from bots
