What feature do you want if @lenster.lens have communities 👥?
Comments
- Genuinely curious @lensfrens, what benefit do you see communities bringing to our user experience?
- I don't know the answer to this, but I wonder if building a separate communities app (maybe even something like Reddit) would be better, and then that app could become a protocol/component which gets imported into Lenster and other apps. 🤔
- Lens Space to discuss and an App on Play Store and Apple Store.
- I can vouch that ig like stories in Travel community are going to be extremely popular considering how big of a reach they have on ig.
- A way to organize topics or discussions, moderation tools and access levels (especially for very large communities are essential tools). Some voting system is also interesting, both to define the direction of the community and to highlight the most relevant content.
- An onchain adaptation of mightynetworks.com would really work well.
Seamless community design experience. You should really check out their platform.
- Integration of chat rooms for specialized discussions, enhanced user profiles, topic tagging, and community-driven content curation✌

- Looking to migrate away from Reddit, but I really enjoy the format and structure there. If we could customize our own little communities here on Lens with all the moderation, voting systems, subforums, and app builds (like Reddit is Fun). This would draw a huge user base away from there.
- emoji options.
only followers are able to view the content of the lens profile.
- Would
Love to have the option to create Lists, same as with Twitter.
- POAP badging system to community participants for reputation, ala Reddit's gold or StackOverflow's badges.
- make more friends
- Voice message
- different channels / streams would be amazing to enable structuring communication and content.
And the communities should be followable - eg assuming @onionclub.lens is a lenster community. It would be awesome if people interested in L2+ content follow the onionclub community and get the posts into their feed. + content creators can publish content on behalf of onionclub.
