Fully L2 solutions:
- Optimistic Rollups (Fraud proof + DA on chain)
- ZK Rollups (Validity proof + DA on chain)
'Semi'-L2 solutions:
- Plasma (fraud proof + DA off chain)
- Optimistic Chain (fraud proof + DA on decentralized storage service)
- Validiums (validity proof + DA off chain)
* Celestiums (fraud/validity proof + using Celestias as DA layer)
* Availidiums (fraud/validity proof + using Polygon Avail as DA layer)
Hybrid 'semi-L2+fully-L2' solutions:
- Volition (validity proof + DA on chain and off chain)
- Confidention (fraud proof + DA on chain and off chain)
Other types:
- State channels
- State pools (sort of evolution between plasma and state channels)
- Anytrust chain (a consensus-minimized chain that can convert on Rollup in case of no cooperation)

- interesting L2 stats. ZkSync 2.0 isn't even on mainnet but their first version already has more unique bridge users than Arbitrum and higher TVB than Optimism
