The streaming feature isn't related to the total supply 🙂 The project already started 2 years ago on the GnosisChain, with having the 1 Token minted and then opened up liquidity pools on HoneySwap with it, giving it some initial (trading-)value. The @superfluid.lens Streaming functionality "just" opens up new possiblities to interact with the token itself or build something on top of it. Like streaming the 0.25 project owned token to a Treasury over 2 years to avoid quick sell offs by the project itself. Or a new way to fractionalize the token even more by offering a streaming faucet (https://fraction.fyi/v1/faucet). I've been working on spreading the token to more chains in the past months, whilst making sure the total circulating supply stays always 1, accross all networks using the Connext Network with a lock/release logic. It all should be easier to understand, once the new Website got finished - since that will explain what the project is about in a more straightforward way. Along with providing a separate Whitepaper and a "But... Why?!" page ^^ I probably will also create a short (~30 seconds) clip that breaks everything down. So people can watch the clip, when interested look at the website and when even more interested read on the Why, Whitepaper or other articles.
