I like to also think about consciousness from a shared perspective, does consciousness need to have shared elements with other people or does it work if so

This is such another fun thought experiment. Here's my opinion on the rabbit hole! It really depends how we are defining reality tbh, but I definitely see and agree with the thought process. Guessing the thought process is basically that our brains make the representations of the world and they can also make up imaginations, so by provability standards they are both "real." Personally though, I define realness by the amount of things that have to be created before something for it to be created. So my thought process is that there is a perceived reality (our existence) which has been created by either our consciousness or a "reality generator." Now to me, I think of imagination as the creation of thoughts inside your brain directed by your consciousness in our plain of reality. So, while I think both are "real" I would personally say imagination is -1 realness on the scale in comparison to reality because reality is imaginations "reality generator." This doesn't mean though that you could make imagination feel more real than reality because personally I've had dreams that felt incredibly lucid and 'real'. Always a really fun thought experiment and love the ideas 😃!
are you ok?
Gregory Bateson had some nice take!
