- I thought these random banning's over nothing were suppose to stop now that Elon Musk runs the show? I'm still seeing accounts getting banned without even a warning or an explanation of why they got banned. It's an awful social platform.

But, ya know? I think we will just keep seeing more of this. More and then some. It will become the "norm" amongst Web2 Social, more than it already is. You can already see it ramping up on platforms such as Twitter, Meta, and YouTube.
But, then again, I don't believe in coincidences. And, there are Cycles and patterns to everything. Web3 and Defi being borne into this particular period of massive change we are in is not by happenstance.
One of the the biggest elements of Web3 - one that actually isn't focused on that much, but I think will actually turn out being a deciding factor in a shift of the Mainstream population to Web3, is transparency. Transparency and Freedom.
The Web2 paradigm, despite surface level appearances, offers very little of either of those. But contrary to popular opinion of needing to "fight" for that Mainstream adoption, I feel in large part, the very "Masters" of that Web2 paradigm will be the catalyst which causes the shift to Web3 in the Mainstream population.
And, what do those of us already here need to do? Keep building. 😀Keep building better systems, structures, and products which make the world a more transparent, equitable, authentic, joyful, and free place to not just exist in, but to thrive in, personally, as a Community, or as a new paradigm in which we are all able to create the life which we most desire to experience. For ourselves and for the world at large. 💖✨🌿
