- A Little History of Economics - Niall Kishtainy was a refreshing read to understand what moves the economic tides at its very core. Would highly recommend it.

- Econ:
It's old, but "freakonomics" is really good.
"The undercover economist" by Tim Harford is too.
"Thinking fast and slow" is a classic, and "Predictably Irrational" by D. Ariely is a nice follow up.
Then "capital in the 21st century" by Piketty is a real good look at wealth.
David Graeber "debt 5000 years" and "the dawn of everything" are excellent. Like really really good.
"zero marginal cost society" also a long time fave.
Finance: "the index card" and "way of the turtle".
