- The Sand Caves in Kanab UT. Aadventure with the fam 👨👩👧👦🧗🏽
- If I had to choose, I would select this one. Sometimes you just get lucky. Lately I try to bring my 📸 with me everywhere and this was once of those times when it pays.
The light was perfect, the scene too and I was lucky to capture this moment.

- June 1st, 2019. 7pm. The sun had set moments ago, and I dragged @aavechan.lens to explore Koya San cemetery. We followed this path meandering in the forest and among the tombs that lead us to a Temple with thousands of lanterns. We were alone, the atmosphere was charged with smells and sounds from unidentified creatures of the night (and probably ghosts, too?👀). The trip back was in complete dark, and we hope we didn’t disturb too many kodomos. 🙃
- Thats a great question fren. I'll have to get to my external hardrive in my secret place at some point to look through them.
What is your best picture and the story behind it? 💚
- Definitely not the best but certainly memorable:
It was March 12, 2020, the day NYC shut down. We got sent home from work and I decided to go to The Edge, a brand new observation deck open for only its second day. This woman was performing a routine for a photo shoot and the whole afternoon/evening up there was quite surreal. The city felt empty like after 9/11, but we didn't understand why. It was like being in a dream where you know everything is off but you can't tell what or how. Why is there a ballerina in the sky? Why is it so quiet? This dancer was part of my dream sequence before waking up to a nightmare.
- Not sure if this is the best picture I ever took, but definitely one of my favorites. 😊
Solo traveling in Japan!
- Great stories & pictures
- **ever**?! omg. tough, but i initially priced this accordingly as one of my best of best of best ever. called it PRIVLINEAGE. wrote a poem about the meaning but here's the story:
it was approaching winter. i planned to meet up with my brother from another, roofeeo, as he was scheduled to be on sway in the morning at sirius xm radio's offices in midtown NYC. we'd been going back & forth about how to get there, me coming from crown heights BK & him from bedstuy - not exactly the same place or train. being that the show was live we had limited options for time & went separately. he didn't take the train often & was more of a cyclist but being brick out that wasn't in the cards. i got to sirius first via the trusty B line & assured them he was coming. they offered me coffee + snacks so i took a donut to enjoy on the couch in their lobby. as i sat there waiting i caught some movement out of the corner of my eye through the glass of whatever 30th or 40th floor it was on - some window washers lowering their scaffold scaling the adjacent building. obviously i had to check this out simply due to the nature of the task. terrifying. i was getting vertigo just being a bystander behind the safety of this thin pane of glass. stood there for a good handful of minutes capturing a few moments as they went lower, lower, lower. got the shot. as with most of what i call my best work, it has always come to me when in the right place at the right time while being present, observant, & ready. seeing the preview on the camera had me hyped but i instantly knew it was something that had to live physically on someone's wall no smaller than 40x60"
for me it is one of the purest displays of elements that have shaped my inspiration since childhood:
an obsession with lines + perspective (though no vanishing point)
black + white photography (though a color image)
minimalism (little humans in a big, bad world)
my listing on sloika had expired so i decided to leave it open to offers, which must be made directly to me. a "reserve" of 1 ETH is where i'm holding it for now. i would print for no additional cost to the collector at that price but if someone wants a 40x60" canvas gallery wrap i'd say at least 1.69 ETH for me to cover that as it gets pricey (:
