Those of us (me) who do not have enough confidence to successfully monetize their audience-building abilities hope the airdrops will support them when things don't work out chasing independence. Is it the smartest way to get ahead quickly? Absolutely not. Is it an excuse to to put off taking the risk? Absolutely. We all tell ourselves there is "some number" that will make us more risk tolerant, but there isn't. Crypto is risky though and many people like me grew up only learning to be risk averse. I am trying to change that and crypto is helping but not there yet.
