At this point I'm 100% in on Lens and have more or less left Twitter behind, is anyone else in the same boat?
There are obviously pros and cons to this, w
Comments
- Holy Smokes! SAME! #LensMaxi
- lets rolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
- wow
- Can #frens boost me to go up to 100 followers?
- I feel the same way, still going to stick with traditional sources, but finding true early people for the HODLHQ community feels better in a web3 setting. The horse has already found the water itself, and it decided to drink too 😅💎🙌
- i'm on both. doesnt hurt. most people still on twitter and still great info and news there
- I’m 50% twitter 50% lens
- For my personal profile I'm with you - the Community and feedback is way better here than on Twitter (but we'll have to see what happens once it scales up and the "negative" parts come along too)
Can't leave Twitter behind completely - especially not for the projects ( @0xMinervaWallet.lens and @fraction.lens_token ) since they require a broader audience too.
For them I'll co-post here and there.
- twitter more for now, lens is future
- twitter more for now, lens is future
- what are you going
- I’m all in on Lens too. I’ve kept Twitter news alerts on for WatcherGuru, DB, and Stani lol. I’ll catch up on Polygon and industry news throughout the day but as for actual social media consumption and creation I’m keeping it here. Two major reasons why:
First, this is the easiest way to build the community I wish to see, experience, and be part of. The tools here enable for more meaningful connections to be built and understood than tweets. The fact we can transfer value and things between each other immediately is not fully appreciated by anyone yet, but it’s clear the connections we’re making are deeper.
Second, I’m noticing a very frustrating disconnect in web3 between here and there. The people outside of Lens don’t have the same tools we have, therefore it’s becoming harder for me to relate to those on Twitter. This is clearly a “me” issue but it’s no longer worth my time to sort through bad take after bad take when my reality on Lens doesn’t match the timeline of (essentially) OpenSea users.
- I'm with ya, the only times I open Twitter is -
- To check up on a few accounts I like, who are not yet on Lens.
- Some shitposting banter, I feel shitposting on Lens is a bit on the "nicer" side.
- I’m getting to that point but at the moment Twitter is a better source of information to keep up with certain projects
- its good
- Same here, although we do need more thought leaders coming over this way
- I use lens more 💚🌿
- OnlyLens
- There are more and more restrictions on the little blue bird now, lens will gradually become a fertile ground for web3.0 growth and communication, it represents a free and comfortable environment~
- nice
- My personal goal had been to move more people into Lens by writing 🧵 about quality projects building on Lens.
So far, I've written about Orb , Phaver and Lensdrop.
The crypto Twitter needs to the "WHY" of Lens🙂
- I like Lens more because there's less shilling and it's better-organized.
- Same. Lens is way better.
- I think we are on a good path; we need to prove that an open ecosystem can build more cool stuff and bring more utility to users than a large tech company
- What I can say that Lens is very community oriented audience, surely most of people have not yet found Lens within the web3 community and I see it as a positive state since it gives more time for the community to grow and decide how to move forward. From collector perspective like myself I like the fact that I can collect in mediumless way on Lens, for example music, text, art from the same artist as NFTs. Also I use Lens a lot for NFT discovery in general. I feel like the garden is growing into the right direction 🌿
- you wont go wrong building on lenster. its the future
- Not yet, there is still a lack of content overall here compared to twitter!
