Every L2 is currently centralized by having a single entity operating the sequencer/prover
The only way to solve this is a native token & stake to produce

Having something at stake that's not a native token is kind of their whole spiel.

- Coinbase claims they'll decentralize the sequencer but say the tech isn't ready yet (at scale) so they'll be picking up the load for now.
